For so many years it's been about our defence but suddenly vvd, matip, Gomez, lovren is a good set of options and I think we will just extend Milner to cover the fb spots. Clyne and Moreno will likely go.

Dont think we make any moves in midfield, naby hopefully like a new signing. Would love coutinho back tho.

Priority has to be one or two quality forward options. Think Wilson will get another loan deal or be sold.

I think whether or not Milner extends will be down to if Leeds make it back into the Prem.
I’d we go up, I’m pretty sure he comes back for his last season or two.

Think Milner would work really well with Bielsa as he is a work horse. I'd guess he stays at Pool though as he'll want the PL title if they can push on for it next season.

Expecting us to sign 4-5 players, all of whom will immediately turn to **** upon signing their contract. Expecting a lot of outgoings, might be as many as 10 players leaving.

Valencia, Herrera, Darmian and Rojo definitely leaving. Bailly, Mata, Sanchez, TFM likely to be released/sold as well.

Hoping for a CB/RB/CM/RW at a minimum + Tuanzebe to return from loan. Expect Pogba, Lukaku and maybe DDG to leave so would need a CM and FWD as well but I'm not really expecting us to sign 6-7 in one go.

I do not think we will be able to sign players that can improve us a significant margin so would be more than ok with signing an established CB and invest in 3-4 youngsters and be done with it

For Newcastle I think our most important signing is obvious: Rafa. a second season of over performing with a squad that requires some serious investment.

After that, Rondon needs to be made permanent. Rafa invested so much into him would be a waste to just let him go elsewhere.

After that I would like competition at fullback, Yedlin is ok but has made some costly mistakes this season. Ritchie is doing really well but we don't have much in the way of back up.

Not sure what to make of our CM situation. Would love to see a Longstaff and Shelvey midfield to see if it would work.

A new owner would be top of the pile though but I have to be reasonable and understand this may never happen....

Unless DDG signs a new contract I don't think you're getting Henderson permanently this summer.

Zaha looking to leave Palace so a summer of his name being linked to Spurs/Arsenal and United on the cards.

I doubt Zaha has any interest in returning to United. Palace will be looking for a huge fee since we apparently have a 25% sell on clause on him.

Different manager, different players, different staff, larger contract - if they make the best offer, I don't see why he wouldn't go back.

Yeah sure, if we offer significantly more $$$, EdWoodWood style, but he apparently hated it in Manchester so if it's close I think he'd stay in London. I also don't expect us to be interested anyway since he's more of a LW/LF these days and we're looking for a RW.
