I don't get it either. It is almost as if we are spraying lowball bids in hopes to appear active to the fanbase and to hopefully get some absurdly cheap gem out of it. Getting a bit trite.

Exactly this. Is Maguire an updgrade? Sadly, yes. But, how much more would Koulibaly cost? It's also frustrating in that Manolas signed for Napoli and he absolutely would've been an upgrade and would've been pretty affordable and it looks like Toby will go somewhere else. Toby may be on the other side of 30, but **** all, sign him for 3 years and he'll still be better than the dream trio of Jones/Smalling/Rojo.

if this is just based on that one tweet then the source looks very dodgy

but a #10 with good, not great, technique, some speed and a very good work rate. played central midfielder at times and did surprisingly well, so very solid defensively for an attacking player. can probably play winger too but hasnt done so the last three year. didnt have a great season but was the best in the big games like the cup final and european qualification so there's maybe another level to him

seems like a great guy too but his habit of taking bad shots from distance will annoy you

wtf? trippier to atletico for 20-25m seems to be happening. didnt have a good season so decent fee, but if this means aurier is gonna get his minutes then i ****ing hate it

Big wages, Prem exposure, Pellegrini, and don’t forget the chance to play with living legend Mark Noble. Awesome purchase...he and Chicharito could be a great pairing.

He seems like a player Dortmund would be all over though.

Trippier was really **** last season, with countless mistakes leading to goals.

Aurier has been disappointing since his move, but he really can't be much worse than Trippier, Foyth has been playing RB for Argentina in the Cop, and KWP is probably not much worse than Trippier and at least has age as an excuse.

So yeah we're not great at RB, but £25m for a declining 29yo is too good to turn down despite the lack of RB cover.
