In the recent past , Verne Lunquist has said "Bruce" Koepka numerous times. He has been very careful today, sticking with just saying Koepka mostly, or Brooks. Earlier he said Koepka...paused then said Brooks. His mind wants to retrieve Bruce, so he is really being careful not to screw it up again.

This could get close. There are enough guys at 4 and 5 under that if one or two of them go low, then the lead can quickly be 4 or so, before the back nine. When Norman blew the Masters up 6, there weren't as many who could even theoretically threaten on the last day. It is not impossible at all for Koepka to shoot a four over round of 74, and if he does that, he will have a big sweat. Tiger was about 15 to 1 to win the Masters and Koepka is about 1 to 15 heading into tomorrow. It can happen. Same odds. Think of it like this....you have 1,000 balls in a bag. About 930 of them have Koepkas name on them, while the other 70 have other players. Stick your hand in the bag and you are not a lock to draw a Koepka ball.

When LeBron and the Cavs were down 3 to 1 to the Warriors, they were 35 to 1 to come back and win the title.

Remember my post. Odds are good that someone goes low tomorrow, and going low usually means starting out fast. Koepka might only be up 5...maybe even 4... when he hits his first shot.

Nah, Varner is a very streaky player. Not surprised at all that he played like **** today. He went eagle bogey eagle last year on Saturday at the Canadian open on 16-17-18 just as an example of how streaky he can be. He's been **** lately.

He'll be back.
