Seems solid. He'll be playing out of position and he's 30, but it's shorter than 3 years, so it won't impact all the important players' new deals.

Graham was in his prime though. Cooks is washed up, but they still need SOMEBODY to catch balls cause right now they're at 2 by my count.

Not buying he's washed up at 31. TE's can do well in the league way longer than that age.

Cook had the best season of his career literally last year?

Of course, the season described that started this convo would be the 2nd best year of his career.

lol After the settlement some people were "hearing" and reporting that kaep got between $60M and $80M... I'm starting to wonder if after lawyer fees if he actually made money.

Admittedly, his stats were better than I thought. But because of the Raiders ineptitude of throwing it more than 10 yards down field I think he benefited. However, if he was going to a system to succeed the saints are it. We'll see.

More TE's than you think didn't bloom till 30's. Delaine Walker being the most obvious example.

Don't think anyone smart believed or even claimed those giant numbers.

I think the people who said 60-80M figured that the payout would be equal to Kap projected salary during the years he was blacklisted from the league or something like that.

Honestly, 10M is actually more than I expected.

Montez Sweat should be the 1st non QB drafted. He's the most dominant DL prospect I've seen since Aaron Donald maybe Mack too. He's one of those special prospects where elite athleticism meets elite production.

Longest arms and biggest hands of all edge rushers this year. Fastest 40 and 10 yard split out of all edge rushers and elite jumps.

1st in sacks and TFL in the SEC in 2017.
2nd in sacks in the SEC in 2018.

He's a can't miss prospect if it wasn't for this heart issue. With a positive prognosis SF should draft him with the 2nd pick.

The mock drafts I have seen have 1. Kyler Murray (Ari) 2.Nick Bosa (SF)

Ok last draft post for a while.......lol just getting excited about the talent........

The fact Brian Burns is not going to be drafted in the top 10 shows just how stacked the top of this draft is. Javon Kearse clone is dropping out of the top 10? Lol what? Ridiculous.

I might stop being a Giants if they don't pick a QB in the first round.

Not sure what I'd do. I guess become a Jets fan?

agree, not sure why the reports said he received "less than" 10 million, why not "almost" 10 million.

remember, he's a scrub - what's 2x the average backup QB salary?

Kap wasn't a scrub. He was an average to below average starting QB on a pretty awful team.

Because there were rumours he got as much as $100 million, and using "almost" implies very nearly reaching something impressive. The story is not that he almost got an 8-figure settlement, but that he didn't even get 8 figures.

When the story was first reported I said I had no clue how he would go about getting 60-80m since collusion is so tough to prove.

NFL owners are dumb but not sure they're quite that dumb.
