JM, the piece de resistance of Keim's incompetence hasn't played out yet.

he's gonna get pennies in the dollar when he trades the QB he traded up into the top 10 for last year, because the rookie QB couldn't succeed with the coach and OC hired and then fired and the team he assembled with the worst line and one of the worst receiving corps in NFL.

now he's gonna overdraft another QB because he fits with the scheme of the losing coach he shouldn't have hired in the first place

I'm intrigued by AZ because while whatever they're doing has a good chance of not working, going all in on a young coach who failed in college because he looks like Sean McVay & a 5'10 black QB is such a new type of gamble, I have to respect it more than retread coach + tall white QB.

Guys how’d we forget Isiah Thomas—not only ruined the Knicks albeit under Dolan, he also took down an entire basketball league in the CBA. Horrible college coach. He was actually fine with Indy but couldn’t get over the hump.

I would make them fire him & fumigate his office as a condition for accepting employment.

Was just looking at that 2012 off-season. Doesn't look as good now that Fleener/Allen/Ballard are irrelevant, but seemed pretty impressive at the time.

Grigson traded a 2013 5th rounder to move up from 97 to 92... which would seem bad except for the fact that he drafted TY.

Plus actually winning a championship is undoubtedly a big money earner for endorsements/future deals etc. So probably better to think of it as taking a gamble rather than accepting less money.

Also the Raiders paid Jordy Nelson's 2019 roster bonus in december so they could split the cap space in 2018/19.

Instead of not doing that and cutting him now would've been 0 for 2019.

the golden tate signing is hilarious when you figure, they suck, they just gave an old WR money, they just gave their divisional rival a nice comp pick, it doesn't yet according to overthecap but it also could end up cancelling out the collins comp pick. tl;dr Tate could be fine/good and this is still dumb as hell.

Justin Houston doesn't cost comp picks or cancel any, surprised he's still out there.

Same with nobody taking a flier on Tyler Eifert yet. Injury prone but there's not many TE's that are receivers like him and he's not gonna cost much.
