And more. ESPN reported that he was in an air cast.

Bucs signing Suh to a 1-year deal to replace him. So much for that.

Every year someone destroys their knee worse than a torn lig in a whatever practice in the summer and we're still in may sheesh.

yep. dangerous sport. Silver lining is that it happened to a man of dubious character.

If it needs to happen to others let's hope that Zeke, Reek and Kareem suffer first

49ers have had a wild linebacker history of late. Patrick Willis retiring after just eight years. Navorro Bowman's gruesome injury. Chris Borland retiring after one. And then cutting Foster after like a season and a half because of the DV stuff (and now he's had a major injury too).

49ers jumping the Saints to take Foster is one of the best thing to happen to the Saints in a while lol

Bowman was the one that really upset me. Even in the act that injured him his WIM after the act while the play was ongoing was just off the charts

And within a couple of years on the trash pile. Football is just cruel

I thought this Pats Pulpit article on defensive evolution toward a 3-3-5 or 3-2-6 was pretty interesting.

Chiefsplanet going nuts about us getting the draft.

For one long weekend the biggest jersey-over-long-underwear-rocking choads from 31 other NFL teams will be in KC. P&L (cheesy club district) will be an absolute gold mine of long time listener/regular callers who live in a room above their parents garage.

The Willis-Bowman combo was Mount Rushmore level. Such a shame we didn’t get another few years of them together

I reckon Willis will go very close to 1st ballot HoF despite only 8 yrs

I feel like if they had the same kind of open records laws as Florida, you would get a lot more Louisiana Man stories like this

The Pats will likely look completely different lining up on defense in back to back weeks with Cle/Balt.

Draft's better if you've got an early pick and that won't happen next... oh 2023 you say, okay then.

As for the event itself, yeah it's just a bunch of nerds and fat dumb fans. At least they began a tradition of people who played for rival teams roasting the hell out of whoever's hosting the draft.

Though I doubt they'd be allowed to uh, well discuss a certain topic.

Leading a tweet with "Chargers TE Hunter Henry tore his ACL" is questionable sentence structure and a bit clickbaity.

Pac-Man Jones retires. Managed 11 seasons over 13 years - significantly more than it looked likely a few years in.

Made $39m - cost himself at least that again with the off field stuff

RIP Bart Starr. My dad did some business with him in the 80's IIRC and said he was really nice. Never heard anything but good things about him.

yeah absolutely incredible that he played as long as he did. Definitely owes Marvin Lewis a debt of gratitude.

Also kinda nuts that he made like 15 mil over his last two years in Cincy. What a nice little parting gift.
