He's meh but Melvin Gordon is meh too and since he gets forced touches it doesn't matter. Jacobs will be forced touches because he's a 1st round pick. Job's are a stake but he's not special.

Obv the Giants couldn't have traded for him.

He is special.

He will be Gruden's Grinder.

So it seems the Seahawks don’t care for 3 cone numbers

Can we discuss the fact that the Vikings drafted a long snapper?

I recall that their long snapper last year got a chunk of his finger ripped off after getting caught in a face mask. Still finished the game though.

Air Force Long Snapper. Might have to get stashed first to fulfill his service?

They are tight against the cap room and can save a few hundred K by cutting the vet LS. Ya he lost part of his finger vs the Rams.

Not sure you're serious. Gruden is running that team into the ground. With the first round draft capital they had they could have had both Oliver/Sweat. Either one by themselves is worth more than all three of the players they got.

Immediately thought on the first one that it must be Mark's son

You didn't answer my point at all, but TIL that three down backs who've averaged 100 yards from scrimmage for three straight seasons are "meh."

well at least tyree's going to a team that doesn't have to change any offense for him, same skill set and weaknesses as Allen basically.

Gettleman insists that 2 teams would've taken Jones before 17. Probably but I'm having a hard time figuring out which two those were. The washington stuff ended up being smoke and he probably believed it.

Josh Allen (both of them) go with the 7th pick in the draft. Tyree Jackson who's Josh Allen lite--goes undrafted. The NFL.

DK is such a unique case-- but it is weird that the Seahawks were the big-time SPARQ team for so long but then they drafted a bottom-10% athlete in the first round at pass rusher. I guess they wanted a tweener guy they could move around the line like they were hoping to find with Malik McDowell a couple years ago, but L.J. Collier isn't nearly the athlete McDowell was.

Was just looking at some team's drafts, and the every pick for the Patriots involved a trade except their first round pick and their 7th round pick (3rd last pick, kinda hard to trade down from that spot).

On the opposite side, the Chargers made 0 trades (assuming they had no extra picks they traded away).

I saw N'Keal Harry compared to a poor man's Anquan Boldin. That's a rare case where a "poor man's" anything is still a really exciting player.

Winovich is a good pick and all, but I keep reading people saying that his production was better than Gary's, and honestly it should have been. He's almost 3 full years older than Gary. Same with other edge guys that went around him - Polite, Zach Allen. Maybe he'll still be better than all of them, but at 3 years older his 2019 tape should be better than those guys, and that doesn't mean much for their NFL ceilings.

I think that's right that the Chargers didn't make a single trade.

Winovich is still a plus athlete, though (although not on Gary's level), which tends to be more indicative of success as a pass rusher than prospect age.

Also they were drafted by NE so they're immediately elite winners

Gonna look a lot less elite when Brady retires and McDaniels takes over for Belichick. It’s happening, soon.
