How does my brain work? Well, it's like this, Zion doesn't look ripped but he doesn't look fat either & in reality he's 6'5 & 6'6 with shoes on. The weight measurements i'd assume are when the players are fully hydrated & after food + liquids are in their system. Even after eating you're only going to be like 5 or so pounds over your wake up weight. If Zion is a legit 6'5 272lbs & what looks to me to be around 15% bodyfat then Zion should be the #1 in this draft & probably every draft in the nba. He also wouldn't even be human, these are not humanly possible numbers people is what i'm getting at & worse he's 17-18 years old hahah. Being a wing sized player at that size, with his athletic ability is way more freakish & useful than him having uber long arms cause it would be he can guard 1-5 & nobody in the nba can guard him but like i said those stats aren't accurate.

Yes i'm so silly for realizing that at 6'5 272lbs at age 17 & 15% bf means Zion is either Jesus reborn or the stats are inflated, such a silly rabbit i am.

Maybe he isn’t as lean as you think he is. He looked legit fat at the mcd game.

Zion looks a hair pudgy in a few photos I've seen of him. I expect to see a slimmer version after a year at Duke.

Draft express has his player comp as Rodney Rogers. Zion reminds me more of young Charles Barkley. He should look like a total beast against college players. Hopefully he develops his skill set beyond a bully ball type of player. I would be kind of worried that he is at his peak leaping ability and could turn into DeJaun Blair.

if zion is winning instagram dunk contests while also being a fatass that is kinda scary. but im down with the fraud train.

it certainly looks like this could be a weak class; may be worth looking at a bunch of the overseas flyers.

he isn't that fat but for basketball at the highest level he looks pretty damn huge for his age. like most women on TV are pretty attractive but some are obviously TV ugly--Zion is nba level fat especially for a 18 year old. he's probably shaq's weight when he was in HS but shaq was 5-6 inches taller.

zion reminds me of a slightly bigger version of Larry Johnson--larry was listed at 6-7, 250 back in the day.

RJ Barrett having a full Ginobili arsenal at 18 is ridiculous

If he weighs 272lbs in that photo then Zion Williamson is the best basketball prospect of all time because at age 18 he probably has atleast another 20lbs to add once he's in his prime & he already has good speed & hops. Like i said though, dude isn't anywhere near 272lbs or else we would be raving about him the same way people raved about Lebron & he would look soo much bigger.

He looks like he is sucking up his gut a bit in that picture (but not a lot). Jonathan Givony reported that Zion seemed to have poor conditioning at the USA Basketball camp where he weighed in at 272. After measuring him, Duke is listing him at 6'7", 285.

He looks like he has some tweener concerns when projecting him to the NBA. He doesn't have much length, which should make teams worried about his defensive potential when combined with his height. I think teams will also be concerned that he is the kind of guy who gains 30 pounds in the off-season and comes into training camp needing to shed weight. I would guess that his in-shape playing weight is closer to 250, but he will put on pounds easily if he is injured and has to sit unless he learns to eat more nutritionally sound.

His weight and multiple sources suggesting that he has a conditioning problem is why people aren't raving about him as much. If he weighed 240, then people would be raving about him more because it would be easier to project him as a guy who could guard both forwards spots.

He has a lot of upside, but for now he either needs to show that he can learn to make jump shots well enough to be a credible SF on offense or he needs to show that his height and length are not impediments to guarding bigger, longer PFs. If he can do both, he'll be a terror on the court.

France will launch is best prospect ever in next year draft

Sekou Doumboya 6"9, 6"11 wingspan, 8"11 standing reach weigh 220 lbs

Physical freak with lots of skills, not a good 3 point shooter atm but plays like he is so that's probably better for his development rather than going MKG/Roberson path of not taking any shot

Ceiling is Draymond Green with a slasher/scorer offensive game
Floor, I don't know right now, don't know if the man is smart or if he's a dumbass

Be careful with Youtube, most of his highlights are from when he was 15 or 16

Can find some highlights of him at 17 last season in French 2nd league there :

Most positive thing about Doumbouya potential development is that he has a great physical body but plays with 30yo pros since he's 15.

He can't dominate teenager in high school just by outpowering them. He has to work on his game everyday to get minutes and to be a positive player for his team

He's got frog arms. That wingspan measurement isn't good.

number 70, does he really looks like he'll have a problem in NBA because of wingspan ?

Seriously

Spoiler:

6'5 240. Looks like a defensive end. Explosive athlete.

-Career 37% shooter from 3 on 300 attempts
-79% FT shooter on 200 attempts
-Excellent defender who can defend multiple positions
-Great rebounder

Basically, his handle is somewhat limited which has hindered his creation and lead to low assist totals. But, there's hope that could come around

Spoiler:
Love the Admiral. Grant Williams for UT could also be this.

Another SEC upperclassman who could fill this role is Bryce Brown, SG Auburn. Also undersized for NBA SG (6'3" 200) and not enough ball handling yet to be a PG in the league, but his ball handling really improved from SO to JR year and should take another jump this year. Real streaky shooter and can also be a real headcase, but pretty great on-ball defender. Career 38% 3P on 600+ attempts; 77% FT; really added a driving game between SO and JR year. KenPom has Seth Curry '12 as one of his similars for his JR year.

If i can throw around a few hottakes...

Sekou seems like a nice prospect but not elite. I'm not really seeing any one standout skill besides versatility. He looks like more of a fluid than freakish athlete, and his measurables (mainly wingspan) aren't amazing. I like his fluidity to be a 4 who has some skill of a 3 which is his intrigue to me. On first glance he profiles similar to an Aminu, LRMM type versatile forward. That's maybe a little more of a floor comp, giving him outs to be a better playmaker than those guys. He's a tier 2 prospect IMO.

I think Zion and RJ are better prospects. Zion is such a freak it's hard to describe, and i think his nuclear athleticism will be too much to overcome despite being short; in terms of vertical pop, strength and speed/quickness. I also think his handle and potential passing is a little underrated, and i think he can get there as a shooter. Even if he doesn't the man will be hard to contain.

RJ just seems like a prototypical very very good 3 in the mold of a Tatum, Hayward type who can handle the ball and has a very solid floor game. I just see him having more offensive upside than Sekou who i think might lack the advanced shot/playmaking of RJ.

On first glance i agree Bol Bol looks like a fraud.
