I’m not gonna say you’re wrong but I’ve got the other Euros... Rahm and Molinari... Mostly Molinari FTW.

Rahm will need to find a brain between now and Thursday.

Molinari is solid but he will need to play quite a bit over expectation to cash.

Don't see the course fit for Molinari.

I'm rolling with Tommy Fleetwood as my guy

Rory is definitely the bet if Tiger wasn't playing. Kid been playing everything well this year. DJ albatrossed 15 on Monday so he appears to be in fine form. You have to throw coin down on Matsuyama at 35 to 1 too. 5th, T7, T11, 19th his last 4 starts here and he clearly has the game. Danny Willett at 150 to 1 is the biggest joke I've seen. Should be 150,000 to 1. Kaymer 300 to 1ish, Howell 125 to 1 have some value too as far as longshots go. Kisner is setting money on fire since he's already said course is too damn long for him.

On Masters eve, let’s all take a moment to ponder and appreciate Submergio making a 13 on 15!

Speef was one tree away from keeping Fat Pat out of those champions dinner pics for the next 40 years.

OMeara is ****ing huge now lololololl.

He’s hurt . U make millions and choose how to spend your last years. Personally, I would blow up too if I had to diet my whole career.

why's that, preferred ball flight?

At Augusta, carry distance and high iron shots are more important that accuracy off the tee. For a right hander, a high draw is the most important shot (e.g. McIlroy's ball flight) but I think shape is less of a big deal that the carry and landing it soft. DJ is not going to have any problem pounding fades around the course.

Molinari is playing great and could go well but his game fits a US Open better in my opinion

I was just reading that with the changes on hole 5 it is 313 to carry the bunkers. How many guys in the field can trust a 313 carry? Maybe DJ, Rory, Finau, Rahm, Day, Jb Holmes, Justin Thomas, Bubba, Woodland. It's risky for guys like Tiger and Masuyama to take it on.

It is a huge advantage to the longest hitters. The approach angle is better from the left side of the fairway and the target off the tee is much wider than it is playing right of the bunkers. If someone lays up short of the bunkers then it's like a 50 yard difference in length of approach shot. Maybe a third of a stroke advantage each round when it's warm and there's not a wind in the face.

I don’t think anyone other than Rory can consistently carry it 315.

Rory may be the only one who does consistently carry 315 but I think guys like Woodland, Rahm and DJ could do it on demand if they went all out.

I remember DJ in the playoff against Spieth in the 2017 playoffs hitting over that lake that no one else attempted all week. That was like a 320 carry.

The prices are just dumb as hell this year. Stubhub had some decent values last year for some reason. Rounds dropped to 500-1,000 late which I would pay for sure

At the 1968 Masters, Goalby tied Roberto De Vicenzo at the end of 72 holes of regulation play, and would have had to face an 18-hole playoff the next day, had there not been a mistake on DeVicenzo's scorecard. In the final round, DeVicenzo's playing partner Tommy Aaron marked a par-4 on the 17th hole, when DeVicenzo had in fact made a birdie-3. DeVicenzo failed to catch the mistake and signed the scorecard. The rules of golf state that the higher written score signed by a golfer on his card must stand and as such, the error gave Goalby the championship.

De Vicenzo never won the Masters, but he did have a phenomenal record at The Open. A win, a 2nd, six times 3 or T3, a 4th, a 6th and a T10....in his first thirteen appearances.

DJ can but he's on record that he never swings out his shoes. Steady and still bombs.

That Goalby case is terrible. No way I'd take a win like that. I'd just ask RDV to play the next day for the trophy anyway.
