yeah he should have that understanding, but players are idiots who crash into guys taking last-second threes

tell them before then tell them again. maybe he did in which case it was a mistake not to tell them a third time.

Are people really blaming this on Bruce Pearl? He managed the end-game perfectly. He can't coach for every damn scenario in-game. Hell, he can't even get his players to not foul a three point shooter.

Not fouling up 4 seems incredibly awful. Be up 4 with like 4.5 seconds left.

Yeah you could argue maybe don't make both those fouls to give and just play D against an ice cold shooting team. But it can't be a huge mistake.
