Coming into the draft I was looking for a QB that fit two requirements: They have potential to be a top 10 QB and they would be a lock to be playing for all 3 years. I don't think I need to spend too much time talking about his talent. Ben is coming off leading the league in Passing Yards. He lost AB but still has a good weapon in Juju. At 37, it's not impossible for him to follow Brees/Brady and play until 40 even if it's unlikely.
With a young offense, getting a veteran and talented QB to help develop them seems helpful.

But my gut served me pretty well on Cutlahhh.
I told you guys he sucked.
If I needed to win now and I had a dominant team otherwise I'd probably go with Darnold as a more polished QB. But since I'm taking a flyer on my QBotF I went with what I thought was the higher ceiling.

I would just like to go on record that I think Josh Allen is one of the five worst starting QBs in the NFL and that his problems aren't easily fixable. They are being woefully inaccurate, making poor decisions, and taking off in a panic at the first sign of pressure. This isn't something where a young QB overestimates his windows and just needs to adjust to how much ground DBs can cover. This is an issue with fundamental aspects of being a QB.
Luckily he still seems to be completely out of it with 95% of what goes on in this forum despite posting constantly. So you're probably safe.

I gave him some good targets though, he might be OK if he's healthy, but who knows if that will ever be the case again. At least I have the defense to make up for it!
