Lololol. If Kawhi, Giannis, Durant, Curry, and maybe some others were surrounded by the talent level that Jokic is, would they have lost to Portland in the 2nd round and almost lost to San Antonio in the 1st round?

We’re picking Zion

For where we’re drafting, he provides the highest upside of the remaining players in our opinion. Though he’s a rookie, he’s the most prized prospects to enter the league since Lebron and AD, who were both able to outproduce traditional rookie performance immediately. We expect similar immediate value in year 1 and a high trajectory in years 2 and 3.

Additionally, his defensive flexibility gives us a lot of options going forward to build a dominant defense. His playmaking as a 4/undersized 5 is also something we don’t think we’d be able to acquire later in the draft.

no time for a writeup right now. Oladipo should be back by the first of the year and there's no reason he can't continue to improve over the next 2-3 years. Solid foundation to start from at the end of round 1 imo.

Beal should be one of the easiest players to build around that isn't a bonafide super star. His passing improved last season and he doesn't have any exploitable weaknesses. Last season Beal's USG and AST% went up but his TOV% went down from his career averages. 38% career 3pt and averaged 25 ppg last season.

I have Dipo and Beal as the best TWO-way guards in the league next season.

Oladipo ruptured his quad tendon which is an unusual injury for nba players since it’s an older persons injury (40yo+).

Not sure we should all just assume he’s coming back at previous peak, let alone improving over previous performance.

Seems like Booker at 22 was > Beal at 22. Beal took a big jump in his age 23 season.

Both are three-level scorers, good playmakers, and bad defenders.

Booker feels like he could be a similar player to Dame. His upside > Beal over the next 3 seasons but Beal is more likely to better as is. Beal's defense has really improved since he's gotten older. Booker is a better playmaker already.

Beal is smack dab in the middle of his prime (26,27,28) so I prefer him but I would have been just as happy with Booker.

i think i take booker based off ceiling

beal showed that he can carry the load but it feels you need a very strong and balanced team to have champion equity whereas booker can get you buckets
