Thought he would be one for the future, similar trajectory as Eddie. He might be quite good right now.

Love these youngsters. At least it looks like they are trying. Willock, Saka, Martinelli are all class.

Tierneys crosses are amazing compared to Kolasinac

Hot take 2.0: Martinelli is really ****ing good. Great assist.

Reiss Nelson is absurdly bad at taking corners.

What a strange decision to put Aubameyang on at 4-0. Maybe he wants to try Martinelli/Auba together.

The United game was one of the worst games I have ever seen. No strikers you see. Cant believe I took time off from the Postle cheating case for this.

No chances created. Could have had prime RvN up there tonight and it wouldn't have mattered one bit.

Yeah your right mate, think we need some more strength in midfield.

Nah, let's sign Llorente or Mandzukic, that'll really get us playing the good stuff.

How about we didn't let our main striker go until we had a replacement? Even Mcdonalds wouldn't sack no1 burger flipper until the job centre had sent down a replacement.

No argument there, never has been. It's just a question of priorities.

My point has never been we don't need a striker. It's that DLP/McT/Pogba/Martial > McT/Pogba/New RW/Martial >>>>>>>>>>>> Pogba/McT/Lingard/Mandzukic (or Llorente/Dembele/Wilson/whoever).

Mate it shouldn't be a question of priorities, we need a new CM fine buy one, new RW fine buy one, but don't let 2 strikers go without getting replacements. Even if other areas need strengthening [they do] , it shouldn't change our position on strikers. The Glazers and Woodwood are a joke and weaken our squad in every window.

We're obv not signing 3-4 players in january so it actually is a question of priorities and iirc this discussion also started as a question of priorities.

FTR we also let lol Fellaini and Herrera go without replacements and we haven't had a proper RW since Valencia had that randomly excellent season eons ago.

No argument with bolded obv.

Ok but how did we go from Dybala swap to just cash and then Sanchez going out on loan? My point is that we have 2 strikers and a teenager with great potential. You do have a point with the midfield but if some of our midfield bucked up a bit we would at least be more competitive. Even if our strikers played full blast we would still be short. Anyway why was our squad allowed to get so thin anyway? We need a 20 to 25 goal striker in Jan, end of story.

We're going in circles here but the list of strikers that would score 25 league goals in this team is basically:

Mbappe

It's also weird that you think we could just "buck up" our ideas in midfield where we have 4 players for 2 positions, two of which are steaming hot garbage and the third is a fairly average tryhard. But we're in dire straits at striker where we actually have 3 players for 1 position, all of them at least fairly talented.

Yeah agree mate, think we both are frustrated with our crappy play at the moment and will have to agree to disagree on the main cause of it. PS I still think im right but really want to sleep.

Tierney is class. Cant wait for Emery not to start him in the league until November.

Also Martinelli, Saka look like awesome finds. Hope Saliba is the same.
