Massive match coming up for German/French footballing fans. Ligue 1 isn't too far back from Bundesliga to grab the 4th spot in the coefficient which means a 4th UCL spot instead of 3.

Frankfurt hosts Strasbourg and are now only slight faves to qualify after Strasbourg's surprising 1-0 home victory. Strasbourg going through would be a huge boost to Ligue 1's hopes of sniping 4th position.

Weirdest decision happened at FTC-Sudova. Striker takes it by the keeper, keeper takes him out but the ball ends up in the net from a defender's foot. Ref doesnt giveadvsntage or the goal. Im like ok, red for the keeper +pen. Ref only gives yellow to the keeper. Like wtf....

Yes he obviously gave the pen. But I see no reason to not give the goal and a yellow to the keeper. Ball goes in and the ref blows for the pen afterwards. Seems a bit unfair to give a scoring chance + yellow only

In the end we decided to go see a home game in London. All the flights were either rather pricey or at inconvenient times.

Hope to see Martinelli start these games. The kid will light the EL on fire.

Frankfurt looked like aids at augsburg last week but arsenal completely collapsed in 2h vs watford so I'm not sure what to think.

I am on BTTS + Arsenal.

Holding/Bellerin might be back for tonight which should be a boost for our defense. Willock/Nelson should start as well and they are solid and want to prove themselves, hopefully Martinelli starts, but it is more likely that Auba will. 1-2 to Arsenal with a sweaty ending

Think Arsenal will struggle with that line up. Frankfurt lost a lot of good offensive players in the summer, but they're still solid and strong at home.

A CB pairing of Mustafi-Luiz is bound to concede some chances and Dost is deadly.
