To be fair there's not much to say about the Ajax game.

Or I guess if I would try:
- APOEL is remarkably **** and did not attempt to be otherwise.
- VAR nitpicked disallowed a goal again

Strange developments in our lineup: Alvarez scored the first Mexican goal for Ajax as he started in midfield alongside our other newly acquired CB Martinez (in front of them Ziyech). Marin, bought from Standard Luik to actually play in midfield (which he has thusfar, poorly) was subbed in to allow Alvarez to receive an ovation after ~88 minutes.
-Blind, who skillsetwise should be a decent midfielder and did OK there for a few games, was back in CB tonight alongside the ever mediocre Joel Veltman
-Dest did great as a RB so I now expect full support from the US as well as Mexico (and Argentina, Morocco, Brazil, Cameroon, Serbia etc)
