- the Sharks started 0-4-0
- they re-signed Patrick Marleau
- he scores 2 goals in his debut and they get their first win

champs @ habs.

habs defense is horrid. the game has gotten faster and weber is still weber. petry is a very good defenseman. both righties. pair em and have one ok pair that dont match or split them up and well it's all f'd. bottom line is we're f'd.

victor beta i mean mete...we're f'd.

no pp d against teams that actually have multiple studs, which is everyone so far.

we might be f'd. but you know manic skating around tonight with a fire lit under guys asses we can hang. fake it til u make it. 82 games though u actually need full grown snipers and defensemen.

haven't really gotten into this season yet (and might not), but decent slate of games on today:

loilers @ rags - mcbust at msg, can he defect?
bolts @ sens - best v worst
jets @ hawks - both these teams might be bad, should be fun
blues @ habs - champs in the mecca
flyers @ canucks - these 2 always seem to play wild games against each other
flames @ knights - lucic will def fight someone (if only at the club after the game), is reaves still hanging around? engelland?

i do hope that mcbust & leon manage to drag the loilers into the playoffs, if only bc it'll be hilariously sad how beat down they'll be by that point

any opponent's gameplan will obv be to just wear them the **** out

Was at the Garden and just horrible. Felt maybe three-quarters full (~10% EDM fans) and some of the sloppiest play I’ve seen in a long time. Number of lost edges, missed passes, pucks slipping behind the blue line, etc. was comical.
