So how's the NBA handling this in comparison in mapping out any playoff plans at this time? Please note that I don't casually read NBA news like I would with NHL news.

haven't been following that very closely either, but from what i have seen, it seems like they're trying to sort out all the other stuff first

saw some talk about them wanting to play more regular season games before starting ($$$)
also saw that supposedly the 8 seeds are up 3.5 games in one conference & 5.5 in the other, so
not exactly a point in playing more games or expanding the field, but for money


also, getting the players to accept & respect the bubble concept seems to be an issue for them
(as i would expect in all the leagues really)

which is part of why i'm not confident about any of this actually coming off without a hitch, or at all

basketball should be the easiest bc it involved the fewest amount of players/personnel, but still i don't really trust any of these leagues to respect the bubble in order to make this thing work properly

Assume they all play their dusters and basically use it as warmup games and don't really try.

ya i assume the teams want those games to get warmed up, and the league wants them to make a little extra coin

that they want warmup games rather than going straight to playoffs, which makes sense
