I'll be back Sunday morning, if you want to start then or like Saturday I'm IN and can PM a big board to someone prior. AiML, I'll just fly solo because every time I don't agree I will secretly hate that person for an eternity.

Don't let me slow you guys down. I'm only out of town from Thursday to Sunday (it's a ****ty Cruise), so we can start whenever and hell someone can draft for me while I'm gone.

Can we just give Seadood Jokic Jamaal Murray wherever he ends up drafting and by time 2nd round is here he should be back anyway?

You know what

I dont need a co-owner.

I’m gonna spread my wings and fly on my own with this one.

I'd be down but would probably want a co-owner.

AIM - I'm not that awesome, but my internet connection is impeccable.

Do you guys remember the auction draft? it was like 8 years ago lol and I remember i took Lebron for 750 of the 1000$ budget. We used some software to run that draft, dunno if it's feasible.

I'm just kind of the de facto commish/runner of this one currently. If someone wants to step in, cool.

(Personally, I'd love if we ran another consensus/community draft.)

Are we having trades allowed mid-draft?

I think it's a good idea to have this sorted out now rather than during the event.

I'm really not a fan of trades. Makes planning picks much more difficult. Decreases the need to build for fit when you can just take the BPA and flip them later. It's also inevitable someone will try and hoard a particular position and end up with a joke team.

Makes it far too easy for collusion as well.

But this is "just" for TZ Honor so I'm down for whatever you guys think is most fun.

No trades.

Thread becomes filled with proposals.

Imagine a world where people are offering pick swaps bc someone sniped coach Assani.

I liked the reasoning behind a 3 year dynasty as well.

5>4>3 for number of bench slots too. I like seeing TZ's opinions on the more unknown players around the league. It sucks being the team who drafted Mirotic or Collison since they basically don't even have a rotation with a bench 2 deep.

If owner's don't have the time commitment to go more rounds I think it's also fine for a team to be able to "sign" any undrafted players if they had an open roster slot.

Strong no on drafting coaches.

We're just lucky to get through 7 rounds is the thing. 8 gives you a playoff rotation so I always push for that at least - another reason for no coach.

Sometimes we die around round 4.

Problem with that is it's no longer apples to apples comparing teams/drafting.

Re: Collison that's not true if you drafted Russ (or Harden, etc) as your point. You just need a three guard rotation, if you have a starting backcourt that can both play two, Collison fits.

The stretch 4 who can't play 3 or 5 is a tough fit. I found that out after drafting Ryan Anderson back in the day. Then again, they might then be value later if everyone gets the same idea.

ICWUDT using undraftable undrafteds.

I, unfortunately, did not.

Might help the draft go quicker if players could sign up for a particular time zone pre draft order if they had a preference. For example, something like East Coast, West Coast, ROW and then randomize from there. Any time works for me.

*Not trying to overwork the commish. Just throwing out an idea that could help keep the draft from stalling out in spots.

Yeah, but then we go on pick runs so it's all moot. Can only script so many plays ahead Fat Mike.

The dilemma is wide windows vs getting it actually done and not having it die. Also, the sweet spot is 18-22 teams imo. We get into 28+ and I doubt we get very far. Whatever tho.
