Let's go back to some VAR bullshit, as we've not had any for a while - Werder just sent their striker in behind the SGE defence - it looked like it might have been off, it wasn't but it was at least marginal, in any case he hits it straight at Trapp who turns it behind for a corner. If Werder had have scored from the corner, and the striker actually was off, would they have gone back as far as to giving SGE a free kick near the halfway line, or can they not actually do that?
I think VAR can only go back to the last break in play which is why they always wait for VAR before taking the kickoff/corner/goal kick if something is checked. So once the corner is taken VAR wouldn't be able to intervene for the offside that happened before.
i cant take screen shots (because of some antipiracy thing i guess) but theyre doing some weird graphic animation over the empty seats made even weirder by it only showing up on some of the camera angles
Only watched for 2 minutes but thought 90s FIFA crowd graphics were better than empty seats. I imagine it would look even a bit better if they used 21st century FIFA graphics too
