Four years ago today the greatest football player of all time led Portugal to their first trophy. Not France, Germany, Spain, England, Italy, Belgium, Croatia, Sweden, Poland, Switzerland. No. Just the GOAT lifting the trophy, against all odds. Just like Maradona or Pele. Others peed their pants in like four finals, or didn't score for like 1000+ minutes. Different breed.

Speaking of peeing pants in the final, Ronaldo should be happy he got carried through so many of them.

He's only scored in two of the six UCL finals in regulation, and in one of those two he missed a penalty that would have cost them the game if not for Terry's sad slip.

If not for Ramos, Bale and Benzema, Ronnie would have a pretty poor (by his standards, anyways) record in finals.

CR7 euro was a total joke, everytime he scored a hero goal it was just because he missed tons of huge opportunities before that. In the final Portugal was pure **** until he cried out of the field

Still the best player in the world, but euro 2016 was his worst international tournament

european clubs estimate corona will cost them €4bn between this season and next. that's a lot of money but also only about 10% of revenue and with the way inflation has been probably just means a return to the income levels of ~2018 maybe
