Uruguay's veteran Fernando Muslera, who's not conceded in three hours against the same line up Russia had to face. This gave vruuuuk, Giroudgeous, Jabonator and PeteBlow a four point score.

eleanor60 hits the yolo pick as Alireza Beiranvand kept his side in it against Morocco in their opening 1-0 victory. Nice ace!

Benedmonds did specify Kasper, but nobody else picked him at all, so Schmeichel shutting out Peru in Denmark's opener is good enough to keep his perfect game alive.

Our next selection was probably the safest pick given his side's opponents in their first two games, and while he couldn't keep Tunisia out in the second match, Thibault Courtois was able to prevent the Panamabus from doing anything in the opening game. mic_check12, rtspurs, Fatal Checkraise, mw828, Nemesis, MindFckr, SYF, LFC_USA and Vilica all went for the Belgian number one for a nine point sheep. At least it's not Pickford, eh?

The following day saw our third and final ace of the round, with Man United and Spain keeper David de Gea keeping out the questionable Iranian attack for ninety minutes and giving Booker Wolfbox a correct answer after the heartbreak of missing out in the first two questions.

We're now well into the second round of picks, and it's crunch time with a bunch of teams needing to do something or go home. France managed to get the win in the first game but a Jedinak penalty stopped Hugo Lloris from keeping a clean sheet, however Peru couldn't manage that, so Dara D, kingweed, Adam W and Jack W all pick up four points.

Brazil also managed to concede a dubious goal against Switzerland in their opening game, but despite Costa Rica offering occasional glimpses going forward, Allison was never in any real danger, and their 2-0 win gave xander biscuits, Planetist and Bob Dobelina three points a piece.

Which brings us to tonight's **** or bust game. With David Ospina unable to do a thing in the opening game with his defenders going full ******, he was able to keep out Lewandowski et al tonight to keep his nation's hopes alive, and JMurder3 and teejayC each grab a deuce as he came out on top of the battle between current and ex-lolarse keepers
