Told it like it is really. England had the easiest route to the final they'll ever have and they should be disappointed that they aren't there. He also went out of his way to state that Southgate is a class act.

Ended up getting in an argument with Wright.

vs Belgium - 1
vs Columbia - 2
vs Sweden - 2
vs Croatia - 2

7 shots on target in 420 minutes for an average of 1 shot on target per hour of play

4 goals in those games - from a penalty, from a free kick and 2 from corners

yeah it definitely was coming home....

First Croatia goal got a bigger reaction I think since it sort of came out of nowhere (perhaps they'd been pressing for a few minutes by then??) and the mood prior was good. When Croatian scored their second the atmosphere was already fraught and they'd been dominating for about fifty minutes game time so it wasn't so much of a shock.
