seems to have a lot to do with croatia playing a bunch of extra time games. still rakitic, modric and mario seem to be a lot more talented than engerland's best.

wondering why this kovacic guy doesnt start. he plays a bunch for real madrid so why cant he make the field for croatia?

edit: ok I guess almost all of his appearances for real came 3 seasons ago and now he hardly plays. still dude looks to have a ton of talent.

I always expect England to lose, because they're OK but they aren't all that good -- they can seldom score from open play -- and if they do win it's a bonus, which makes the games quite enjoyable. Unlike the last England World Cup squad, they are doing the best they can, and no one can do more than that.
