The Romans successfully invaded England in about the year 50 BC. The settlement of Londinium was established around a hundred years later.
Some of the place names eg Aldgate, Bishopsgate survive to this day.
~2000 years later a child was born in a far suburb of Londinium, a place called Walthamstow. And that child's name was Harry Kane.
His immense talent was immediately obvious to all,
then this happened
And the rest is history.
Why is this relevant? Well, Sir Harry is about to lead England to their first world cup final since the heroic and brave victory over Germany in 1966, and there's not a damn thing Modric or any of them people can do about it.
