Auburn opens as a 10 pt favorite vs LSU this weekend. Seems like a lot. But what do I know. Still wouldn’t touch this game with a ten foot pole (or any auburn game for that matter)

A few years ago I sat next to the father of a HS kicker during their games for a couple of years. The kid had been to kicking camps since middle school, and the kid's dad was the team's unpaid kicking coach for his son's senior year. He definitely had a long-term career goal in mind. I won't even try to argue that is typical though.

I have no idea where the kid is now, but I doubt Bama would have been high on Daddy's list. I had much more interest in the dynamics than in the kid's career.
