Heading into the 2018 NFL off-season, a # of teams are looking for QBs, & a # of QBs are looking for jobs. I am going to ask questions regarding where you think QBs will end up, & how much you think they will get paid (& in one case, what you think the trade compensation would be).

The game will be scored as follows:

* For pick a team questions, you will get 1 point for every 3 people who enter, rounded to the nearest whole #. So if 20 people enter, & a QB goes to the team you think he will, you get 7 points.

* For contract/trade compensation/draft questions, you will be judged by how far you are from the correct answer in comparison to other people. In the hypothetical where 20 people enter, if you are the closest, you get 20 points. If you are the furthest you get 1 point.

I have given some thought as the best way to judge contracts because it's going to be difficult to make everyone predict all of years/total dollars/guaranteed dollars & then weigh the contracts off 3 separate criteria.

So my choice is going to be avg per year because it's the easiest to think about, even if it isn't necessarily the most relevant weigh to gauge a contract.

* The winner is whoever has the most points at the end.

8) What team will Case Keenum play for in 2018?
9) What will the average salary be on Case Keenum's next contract?
10) What team will Sam Bradford play for in 2018?
11) What will the average salary be on Sam Bradford's next contract?
12) What team will Teddy Bridgewater play for in 2018?
13) What will the average salary be on Teddy Bridgewater's next contract?
14) What team will Tyrod Taylor play for in 2018?
15) Will Jay Cutler retire again prior to 2018? (question only worth max of 3 points)
16) What team will draft Josh Allen?
17) What tam will draft Sam Darnold?
18) What team will draft Lamar Jackson?
19) What team will draft Baker Mayfield?
20) What team will draft Josh Rosen?
21) What team will draft Mason Rudolph?
22) What order will Allen/Darnold/Jackson/Mayfield/Rosen/Rudolph be drafted in? (this will be scored as a guesttimania based on the # of positions away from being perfectly correct you are)

Can you explain this? What do you mean by positions away if you're guessing the order?

Well, if you pick someone to be the 2nd of the 6 QBs taken, & they are actually the 6th QB taken, you're 4 positions away. I would add up the # of total positions off on all 6 QBs, & that would be your score for how off you are. If you get them all right, you would be 0 off, & get a maximum score.

So if you picked:

For a total of 18. The lower the score the better.

Am I missing something? The primary goal is to have the most points overall, but for the particular question regarding what order the named qb's are taken in the draft, it is ideally 'lowest' score is best. Whats the correct play?

It's a bit complicated I guess.

If you get all 6 right on that question, you get maximum points. So if you're the only person to get out all correct, & 20 people are correct, I would compute you as being 0 off, which is worth 20 points.
