With the season about to come to an end (and the season essentially being over for multiple teams weeks ago), it's time to look to the future.
Yup, the NFL draft where everybody's an expert and nobody's holds them accountable for ****ing up. Personally, I haven't been following college football. I bounce around looking at highlights from time to time but know little.
Anyway, it appears that there are some quarterbacks who will grace the top 10 with their presence. Let's see who they are in my informal analysis of them.
Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA
My primary concern with Rosen is his ears. While they will be beneficial for picking up audio signals and subtle sounds that only his abnormally large ears can hear, I feel that they will slow him up while he is scrambling. If they were larger, he could pull a Dumbo and fly over the defense which would definitely make him worthy of the top pick but without them, I'm not sure he's worth it.
Well at least the Browns will take him.
Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville
He's just such an athletic QB. I mean look at that jump of this. His speed, agility and quickness are off the charts. I haven't seen a quarterback run like this since Randall Cunningham. He does everything. He can run, move in the pocket, break tackles and evade pressure. All those moves of a true athlete are reflected in the athleticism and fitness of Lamar Jackson. He's just the perfect athlete. So athletic. Athlete...
Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma
It's good to see that Mayfield already has his mug shot face mastered. That's the first step to being a legendary quarterback. Just ask Johnny Manziel. I mean that guy is gonna be a star in the CFL! I feel that so long as he is capable of keeping that face then he's gonna be all right in the NFL. He'll pass the mug shot test and his whiteness ensures that he'll be able to avoid jail time just as effectively as the athletic, fast, strong, athletically gifted athlete Lamar Jackson evades defenders.
