NFL Draft 2018: Talk and Speculation NFL Draft 2018: Talk and Speculation

With the season about to come to an end (and the season essentially being over for multiple teams weeks ago), it's time to look to the future.

Yup, the NFL draft where everybody's an expert and nobody's holds them accountable for ****ing up. Personally, I haven't been following college football. I bounce around looking at highlights from time to time but know little.

Anyway, it appears that there are some quarterbacks who will grace the top 10 with their presence. Let's see who they are in my informal analysis of them.

Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA

My primary concern with Rosen is his ears. While they will be beneficial for picking up audio signals and subtle sounds that only his abnormally large ears can hear, I feel that they will slow him up while he is scrambling. If they were larger, he could pull a Dumbo and fly over the defense which would definitely make him worthy of the top pick but without them, I'm not sure he's worth it.

Well at least the Browns will take him.

Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville

He's just such an athletic QB. I mean look at that jump of this. His speed, agility and quickness are off the charts. I haven't seen a quarterback run like this since Randall Cunningham. He does everything. He can run, move in the pocket, break tackles and evade pressure. All those moves of a true athlete are reflected in the athleticism and fitness of Lamar Jackson. He's just the perfect athlete. So athletic. Athlete...

Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma

It's good to see that Mayfield already has his mug shot face mastered. That's the first step to being a legendary quarterback. Just ask Johnny Manziel. I mean that guy is gonna be a star in the CFL! I feel that so long as he is capable of keeping that face then he's gonna be all right in the NFL. He'll pass the mug shot test and his whiteness ensures that he'll be able to avoid jail time just as effectively as the athletic, fast, strong, athletically gifted athlete Lamar Jackson evades defenders.

In!

Colts fan here. Kinda torn between Pass rusher(Chubb or Key)/trading down/Barkley which I would prefer in that order.

But I trust in Ballard who seems to know what he's doing, should be very interesting which way they go.

I sincerely hope Lamar gets drafted as a QB. I really wanna see how he can do as a qb in the nfl. He’s so fun to watch. Just hope he doesn’t get convinced to switch to wr or something

Lamar threw 4 picks today, so he's a WR now.

Dorsey would immediately be the worst GM in the league and the lol's on 2p2 will be many.

Mayfield will be the wild card as range he's in the top tier of QB's but he's short and some GM's will never draft shorter QB's. I suspect if I did film work I would grade Jackson Rosen and Mayfield all in some order the top half of round 1 then nobody till mid rd 2.

The 6-10 or worse teams in the draft and where I got them in QB need

Very desperate tier--Cleveland, Denver, Jets
Certainly Looking--Giants
How's that guy coming off injury doing?--Colts, Dolphins
Rolling with what we got for now--9ers, Bears, Bucs, Raiders

Cardinals/Bills just regular desperate tier. Everyone else is *probably* rolling with what they got, even Jax.

Nobody with any intelligence wants to play for the Browns, so it's definitely interesting, we got another #1 QB pulling a move to go to the Giants scenario in play again?

btw, there's another Josh Allen in the draft. (LB, Kentucky projected as a late first/early 2nd atm) THAT's who the browns draft first overall.

Want to see Jackson in a Giants uniform.

I don't think they go QB in the first though. Eli's with the team until 2019. Wouldn't be surprised to see them wait until the 2019 draft to pick a QB.

Saquon looks like an animal. Wouldn't mind seeing him starting at RB for New York either.

10 INTs on the season

Darnold had 13 on the season

Both to be drafted as WRs obviously

I think this is a strong RB class.

I think Saquon Barkley goes first among RB's,

and I have no idea where Nick Chubb or Sony Michel go, but I obviously think they'll have great careers wherever they wind up.

As a Falcons fan I would hate to see either of them going to Seattle.

Dont think this RB class is anything like last years. As good as Chubb and Michel have been, I honestly dont see them as anything special in terms of NFL talent.

Saquan is obviously a beast but after that I'm not that excited

Even he doesnt get me excited. And i hatevhow the announcers talk about how he looks like Leveon too. His cuts are so slow compared to his, they should never be mentioned in the same sentence. 2 completely different runners
