That's such a huge injury risk to put these guys through for meaningless games.
Meh, these guys are young.
In conference tournaments, they play a bunch of games in a bunch of days too. Heck, one year UGA had to play TWO games in one day.
In high school, it's not unusual to play 2 or even 3 games in a day during summer sessions.
Yeah the NBA game is bigger, faster and more physical, but these games are also 40 minutes rather than 48 and these guys are playing a smaller % of minutes since so many different players are getting a look

Went to a couple games, saw absolutely nothing from Smith. Pretty disappointing, although not that surprising as he's more on athleticism and long term upside.
Also seems like the type of guy who will fare better as the 4th or 5th option on the floor rather than being forced to be the guy and try to create for himself, which he can't. If he can develop a 3 point shot then he'll have a good career
