Weird to prefer nothing over pennies. Kawhi can’t fake another injury? Kyrie threatened surgery and forced Cavs to trade. For some reason kawhi wants out but some how spurs want everything for a guy who doesn’t want to be anywhere but LA.

it's not nothing vs pennies, it's "maybe nothing" vs pennies

There's nothing you could end that sentence with that I wouldn't think that OKC is dumb enough to do. This is the FO/ownership that threw a 3 MVP + All NBA defensive 1st team player into the trash, over pennies. They may have decided that "learning their lesson" means now paying insane amounts of tax. They are stupid beyond belief. They are dirty rotten franchise stealers who don't deserve a team¹ and deserve everything negative they can possibly get.

¹ Nothing against the fine people of OKC, but their FO/ownership is nasty ****ing water trash.

"Preparing for Kawhi" just means signing 1-year deals and/or deals that SA would be willing to take back in a trade.

They've done the former but not necessarily the latter. And none of the 1-year deals they signed can shoot. Where is their shooting and spacing going to come from?

Today's (and yesterday's) signings are legit dumb. It's basically their first moves. Sign lebron and then legit do about the dumbest crap ever.

as i said, if lebron is making these moves jfc, this is MJ level GMing. like some of the cavs moves were dumb but I get some of their signings and trades other than the Kyrie one. but most of their moves were for vet shooters and defenders. the guys they're getting is a mismatch of absolute dog ****.

Gotta address this, it's amazing how East slappies keep trying to cherry pick and throw out absurd reasons for why "oh the East isn't really that terrible after all..."

This "let's forget the rest of the playoffs teams and only look at the top 4...and then throw out the West's best team" thing might take the cake.

I still think Melo is gone and that's a great thing for OKC. Melo is unsalvageable. I hate OKC and RWB but waiving Melo just makes so much sense.

Oh, I agree it makes sense. I just don't think that necessarily means they'll do it. And you posted as if it was a confirmed done deal, which is the only reason I questioned it. If you just wrote that you think they should do it and think they probably will, then that's fine.

Lotta things happening quickly yesterday and today, so it's better to just make it clear what's factually officially happening and what's opinion.
