The Lebron news only means that he has a plan and guys ready to come to the Lakers. Showtime is happening next year

Something that doesn't get enough credit for why they lost Lebron is that they absolutely continued to do really good at 2nd rounders and late 1sts, they just didn't keep any of them. They originally drafted Jae Crowder, Allen Crabbe, Joe Harris, and Tyus Jones with very late picks, but traded Crowder, Crabbe, and Jones on draft night in deals they lost, and dumped Harris to free up roster space they ended up not needing.
You sure they didn't draft those guys for other teams aka the other team told them who to pick for the trade?

Raptors are going to be amazing value to win the Atlantic next year. I don't think they will be >50% @ 6 to 1 like I did last year, but I think they're definitely >25% and possibly >33% to win the Atlantic this year. They will probably be 10 to 1, sick value

I think Love gets dealt sooner than later. Cavs only keep their pick if it is top 10 next 2 years and they have so many bad contracts on the books they should just tank the next two years as even if they try they aren't close to a playoff team. Even in the loleast

i think they flipped a lot of guys. a lot of the trades didn't work out so well.

for crowder for instance the cavs got tyler zeller and azubuike.

they made deals, most rookies didn't develop for the cavs.

Did I do something to Kevin Pritchard personally to pick him off or did he just think "I binked the PG trade off, time to pack it in" **** him and everyone that looks like him.

Lakers apparently 7-2 to title?

Javale, Lance, KCP, and Lebron is a very busy day, but, uh, I really don't think this team is very good.

Right now their lineup is like McGee-James-Ingram-KCP-Ball, with Kuzma, Lance, and Hart off the bench? Randle is a RFA so maybe they bring him back, they need bigs.

The thing is that KCP and Lance mean they definitely aren't signing any other decent free agents, they are at the cap now. They can create a little bit by stretching Deng and timing the order of signings right, but nothing close to a max.

Definitely an F- for indy this offseason. 1 of the few good teams in the league with cap room and they get McBuckets.

This was the summer they could attract a FA because the market was so tight. Pay Julius Randle and try to steal him or something.

Line is inflated because oddsmakers pricing in the chances Kawhi is dealt there in the next 3-4 months.

Still inflated even w/ Kawhi but Westgate likely knows they will get a lot of dumb laker fan $.

Lance has been awful every single year he's played outside of Indy.hes had maybe two above-replacement level seasons in his entire career. He also can't shoot.

Like even with Leonard being healthy, plausible trades are like Kuzma and Ingram+some future picks, right?

Then yikes that's even thinner. It's real tough to see how this doesn't end up being the worst Lebron team since like 2007.

yeah that's a plausible deal

Lonzo-KCP-Kawhi-Bron-Randle

I think that's a pretty damn good team and > Houston sans ariza tbh

although margin for error in the west is thin and it is possible they don't mesh well but that is a lot of talent.

Bron/Kawhi is pretty sick
