at first i was annoyed PG wasn't going to go to a great fit in philly or challenge the dubs in LA, but watching the thunder be unfathomably stupid will be entertaining
LA possibly needs to deal for Kawhi to get LeBron to come thus giving SA some leverage
However, if LeBron chooses not to go to LA then SAs leverage goes to hell as Lakers can just wait out Kawhi (would risk a PG repeat situation but still fair to say his trade value goes way down if LeBron doesn't sign with LAL)
CP3 4 year $160mill deal is yikes, was thinking they would do a 3year deal the most but i guess that's a strong wink wink. If anything, players in the future can trust Houston owners/gm when they make a promise, so they have that going for them.
Nuggets currently 22 above the tax before signing a backup PG. Faried and Arthur only make 21.3 total too. I’m surprised at how unconcerned about this they seem.
It seems LeBron to Lakers is all but assured at this point, but with Paul George in OKC, it would sure make a lot of sense for him to take a 1 year shot in Philly, let the Lakers get more assets in exchange for bad contracts in cap space, and then try and build the Kawhi-LeBron-X team next summer
