I think 2p2 doesn't give Steven Adams enough praise. He's a helluva athlete and a guy that helps teams win games. He's improved every season he's in the league (PER 11.2, 14.1, 15.5, 16.5, 20.6) and on top the defence and INTANGIBLES, has put together a honest offensive game in PnR's, put-back's, and that very reliable jump-hook.

top-8 center, top-60 player.

No arguments here chief.

Plus he gives zero ****s about stats (LOL SUP KARL TOWNS). He just wants to play hard and win.

Lol, who thinks he's much worse than that? With your lead in I thought you were going to have him some crazy high rank, top 60 is meh, probably around consensus imo?

well, the reason I mentioned it was bc I remember him making a stink about how the nba couldnt pay him enough to quit gambling and work for a team as some underling to ppl he is far superior to in terms of nba intelligence.

He got big into cryptocurrencies over the past couple of years, and those have had a rough last few months.

Wait until the Lakers start like 5-7 or whatever and we'll see Lavar back in the news imo.

Also the 3 seed prediction has to include a healthy dose of the team having drama and making another trade for an All-Star, as constructed the Lakers are about as likely to get homecourt as they are to miss the playoffs entirely imo.

Rough break for Spurs. Murray was a huge part of their D last year.

They have a new arena and it will be electric every night, they went from the worst coach in the NBA to an at least above average one, they added a criminally underrated player in Ilyasova while removing a cancer in Parker, and most importantly, Giannis will take a huge jump with Bud. I would go long Milwaukee and short the Sixers.

There is no way the Sixers should have an O/U 4.5 wins higher.
I see their total as o48 +100 which is one of my favorites. The coaching change alone (bottom 1 coach to top 10 coach) will be massive. The only reason it's not my favorite on the board is because they were a 40-42 team last year by point differential, so even though they went 44-38 they actually need to make a really big leap to hit the over. Also I'm expecting Bledsoe to play well for Bud and the Bucks to go 53-29 or something...but it's Bledsoe so I don't trust him not to be garbage.

My other favs are Raps o55.5, Rockets o55.5, Jazz o49.5, Cavs u30.5, Suns u29.5 and Kings u26. I'll bet any of those for $100+ at whatever the current odds are.

Ilyasova won't be that good this year.

48.5 seems like a good line to me. I'd smash under 52.

Well that sucks, I happen to like all those lines myself and thus cannot offer opposing action.

Any feeling on Wiz 45.5?

Yeah nobody is rating him worse than this...On the 2018-19 top 100 lists for ESPN, CBS Sports, and Sports Illustrated, he is ranked 47, 43, and 38 respectively (no reason to think 2p2 differs significantly from their consensus).

The most important factor in BOB accepting an NBA job is potential influence. But oh yeah he's into crypto, probably just broke.

What is wrong with the Suns?

This Tweet seems to sum it up:

Firing Watson was obviously correct. Hiring him was the mistake.

Sarver will be on the radio at 3:00 to explain his “thought process” on the firing. Don’t think it really matters much that McDonough was fired now. Most of the important team decisions have been made already (starting PG the only huge need that hasn’t been addressed), and James Jones likely had a role in all the big decisions in the offseason anyway.

Isn’t Field Yates some replacement level NFL Boston slappy?

Ehh I lean under but I wouldn't bet either side.

I didn't think the Spurs offseason could get any worse, ****. Maybe this would be a good time to tank and win the lottery.

What in the world, let him hire the coach, draft #1, make a questionable draft trade, sign free agents, then fire him right before the season starts? Lmao.

I'm fine with firing him but why now?

Thought on Memphis o34? They were a playoff team two years ago. Even with the loaded West I think they could be decent with Conley back and JJJ
