Kawhi doesn't want to play with LeBron. Why are we still talking Kawhi to Lakers scenarios? He wants to play for the Clippers now.

I can see not matching if you wanna build cap space but otherwise not really.
so making mistakes in the past means you should continue to make mistakes.

Leonard is gone, their window is closed. there is no real reason to pay Anderson

Why would Leonard being gone mean you shouldn't pay Anderson?

If it is a +EV deal then why not add an asset that is 24 and has capacity to get better?

Unless you just don't feel that way about him.

I like Anderson and dont even hate the contract, but he has marginal value at best. They should be rebuilding. maintain as much space as possible to try to land big fish

If the Spurs don't trade Kawhi & he sits out next season, does he ruin his career or does the Lakers/Clippers max him & not care about his actions?

If the Spurs dont trade him, and he sits out next season, the league should suspend him.

Silver never doing this and Kawhi has plausible deniability anyway.

If they don't resign Jabari Parker then that's the dumbest move ever. Dude has serious injury concerns considering he has had 2 acl surgeries on both knees but talent wise he's pretty good & you can't lose him for nothing. If anything, atleast sign & trade him for K.Love or something of that nature. The Bucks will be fighting for the #1 spot in the east though, i like them more than the 76ers unless they get Kawhi.

the Lopez deal shows how good of a job O'Quinn's agent did

"You can't lose him for nothing" is a stupid mentality and the reason the Bulls matched Lavine. Maybe Parker is an asset and the Bucks are begging for someone to do a sign and trade, but he is a mediocre player with talent who I don't see coming close to his ceiling. He's probably as valuable as Michael Beasley at the same age and will be as useful in the rest of his career?

How many GMs understand what a sunk cost is?

The Bucks have about $15 million to give him under the hard cap now that they signed Lopez, another guy looking for a one year deal so he can hit the market again when cap space opens up next summer. They can create more room by waiving some unguaranteed deals, but they are pretty much telling Parker that they are only willing to spend so much on him.

The Bucks really need a back up wing who plays defense. That's not Parker.

I dont even.... JP is a beast, the injuries are the only concern. Listen, if it's a case where JP agents want alot more than the $15million they have available then yea let him bounce but he's worth that with his injury history & more without it. He's in a position that Curry was in for his second contract where injuries won't allow him to get a big offer but a medium one, i hope he smartens up & take it.

He's a volume scorer who is not particularly efficient and won't play defense. He like a poor man's Carmelo Anthony who isn't necessarily more useful than present-day Melo, plus injury risks. His role in the modern NBA is bench scorer.

Lol

I'm a Knicks "fan" (in the sense that I grew up a Knicks fan but tuned out when Isiah and Dolan destroyed the team forever) But lol at ever thinking Melo was good. The trade when he was coming anyway was enraging and then the extension was head exploding. Lol Melo forever and ever. Career loser

I also have no confidence that Andre Robertson has better offense than a chair but his defense is so good he's effective, that's how i see Jabari Parker offensively. You people are acting as if he's some 10 year vet who has had his best years & we already fully know who these players are. Parker had his best year in his third season & if he didn't go down with injury would've had an amazing contract year. Offensive weapons like Jabari don't grow on trees, his knees are a huge concern but that's why you don't offer him too much $ but you either need to bring him back or sign & trade an asset like him to get value.

Since so much hate for Jabari ITT, i just want to gauge how good you guys think he is. Which player you like better if all were healthy; Jabari, Kuzma or Wiggins??
