Sitting here today and capping Ayton, Bridges, Jackson, development over the next 5 years is just ignorant.

Did you forget that PHX will have max cap space next year, and 2 max slots in 2020.

PHX is going to get Jimmy, Klay, (healthy) Boogie or Kemba into the desert next year and its easy to see how any of the above could fit on the roster.

PHX can sign a STUD like MONTREZZ right now, the best backup C in the NBA (better than most starters too)

Then in 2020 they have MAX cap space again.

PHX has a real shot to be very good very soon.

The Booker contract is still bad

Buddy is so much better than Redick was at the same age. Hields inability to drive and create at all is a real weakness but he can shoot so well that it doesnt matter. I could see him taking a big step forward this year

Booker averages 25/5/5 on good efficiency with no coherent offense and g-league caliber teammates.

Guessing he improves with a real coach implementing actual sets, and replacement level teammates.

Fondly remembering Knicks RealGM threads 2011-16 when they would rank top players in the league. Their rankings almost always started:

Quote:
LBJ
KD
Melo
or

Quote:
Durant
Lebron
Melo
Actually filling with rage rn just thinking about it.

"Lauri is already elite" is just a bizarre take.

He had a good rookie season and projects to be good. Chill out tho.

If not, at #3 he snap calls. ainec.

Revisiting last year's draft we have:

i) yips ... who the **** knows ... ok there's still a chance this is a #1 pick ... shrug .. no sense in Philly doing this

ii) lavar ... I believe that a good technical coach could mend Lonzo's shot and I believe lonzo himself could be persuaded to do it. If I was a team would I want to pay money to be running this experiment? **** no. absolutely no wai.

iii) celts picks .. Jay Tatum .. good system, good pick for them .. pass

iv) Lauri .. is a lock to be #3 for the 76ers with anyone with a braincell in the 76ers GM position
...

v) Frank

Right now Lauri and Frank are, by a country mile, the #1 and #2 most valuable draftees.*

Fultz, Ball could change that if things work for them.

* I don't believe in Donny Mitchell as a long term prospect.
Hinkie took Jahlil Okafor over Porzingis.

Its so cute when people think Frank will be anything other than a complete disgrace and total bust who may not even get a second contract.

He is literally going to be one of the worst players in NBA history when adjusting for era.

Booker contract is "bad" yet zach Levine is making 20 million a year. Booker contract is exactly what every team in the NBA would give him...

Booker contract complainers were just trolling, look at what Porter, Beal, and McCollum got. Of course Booker was getting maxed. He's a snap max on the rookie extension scale.

If the Lakers could somehow keep one of Ingram or Kuzma, while still getting Kawhi, which one should they prefer to keep and why?

Ingram. He’s 25 months younger and probably better already.

Yeah that one is not close.

Kuzma a better fit with LeBron+Kawhi I guess but still Ingram is just a much better prospect.

Keep Ingram and trade him for something >>>Kuzma if you need to.

Is this a trick question? I don't get the Kuzma love, he's a random bench scorer who plays no defense & isn't a playmaker. He's a good pick for the 20's, just like Wagner is but i don't think he's better than Ingram nor has anywhere near the same potential. The Lakers will probaby try to keep Kuzma just because Ingram is the integral piece in a Kawhi trade & Kuzma is a nice piece that fits with Lebron, but honestly they SHOULD be willing to trade both.

Spurs not expected to match Anderson but they will pay old guys like Gasol, Gay, Belli, Mills? No wonder Kawhi wants out.

I can see not matching if you wanna build cap space but otherwise not really.
