Idk man. Masai is one charismatic cat and the fans/people of Toronto are amazing. I think we could see any combo of:

An acrimonious Uncle Dennis split
A breaking story implicating magic and the lakers org with payments to Dennis
A come-to-Jesus moment between Dennis and Masai.

Also, it’s geat to have Le Rat back.

Toronto has a CHANCE to sign Kawhi if they can get to the Finals and actually put up somewhat of a fight vs the Warriors.

But that's asking for a lot to happen.

Butler and Love easily seem like the most obvious candidates.

As far as Kawhi, I think he's probably gone, gun to my head I'd say 15-20% is a fair number. And I think that is more than worth the gamble for Toronto.

That deal is untradeable right? Basically 5/145 now and he is going into his age 30 season.

Negative asset at the very least. Although I guess he could get some of his value back if he plays well.

Don't get it for either side. Love could've made more by playing well this year and hitting free agency, Cavs need to trade Love to get assets and keep their pick.

I certainly get it for Love.

How much more could he make? He is getting 30 per year. He will be going into his age 31 season, he could also become post-2014 David Lee pretty quickly. Lock it up.

I think the median outcome for Love in FA next summer was a Millsap-like 2/60. Just don't see who is paying him next summer.

And while re-signing with Cle kinda sucks, he probably won't be there for the whole 5 years anyway. Once Deplorable Dan realizes the team sucks, he probably flips Love for Val and CJ miles or something.
