what kind of MLE options do they have?
the rumour-mill have them linked with anyone currently?
I doubt they will use it or find anyone worth that kind of money.
they might dip like one or two million into it to get the #1 backup center they want

They didn't give up any meaningful long-term assets and they cleared Derozan's albatross of a contract.

Getting Danny Green in the deal potentially gives them the most versatile defense in the NBA. Not to mention he was one of the only Spurs players to have Kawhi's back.

Lowry
Green
Kawhi
OG
Siakam
All true. And the move should def be celebrated. But LOL at RapsFan thinking they have a real title shot now. Its like 1.5% generously.

These numbers make no sense. As in they literally directly contradict themselves.

In order to have 10% title equity if they are 20% vs GS they would have to be massive favorites in every EC round AND Kawhi would have to be a big favorite to be healthy and his old self.

That 10% number just has no basis in reality.

If Kawhi is healthy/playing for the Raps come playoff time they're not the favorites but they're certainly contending for the East.

I'd be very surprised if Kawhi is healthy/playing for the Raps come playoff time.

Also, lol Spurs

i'll never forget nogueira making a Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tubemen impression in his -10 in 2 minutes in game 4 that got Casey fired.

craptors purging all their chokers. just gotta start FVV or get CoJo back from the Pacers to run the point

Let's say Kawhi is generously 70% to be the peak Kawhi.

Let's say if thats the case Raps get the #1 seed and are 85%to win first round

0.70 x 0.85 = 0.595

Then lets say they are 70% to win in the second round which is obviously a joke

0.595 x 0.70 = 0.4165

Then lets say they are 65% in the ECF which again is laighably generous

0.4165 x 0.65 = 0.270725

Then lets say they are 20% vs GS (theyre not btw)

0.270725 x 0.2 = 5.41%

So even if you make completely asinine assumptions every step of the way on the optimistic side

They still only have half the equity you think.

In reality at best they are something like 25/1 and that probably is optimistic about Kawhi's health

i think there's some correlation involved in outcomes, so i think your generous expectation of 5.41% is probably correct

Not garbage time- more matchup related. Sometimes they would be losing and would give him a chance- if he was terrible he was out of the game in 3 minutes. If awesome he would be a major part of the comeback for like 15-20 minutes.

No they do not.

I said they have >20% against the Warriors if Kawhi is back.

All in all I thought they had ~ 10% title equity factoring in other series and injuries/ refusals to play

I think they plan to use both JV and Ibaka as the starter depending on the match up and to rarely use Ibaka as a PF.
Still need a 3rd centre as they don't have one on the roster. Some guy in the mold of Nogueira that will rarely ever play, but depth/in case of injury

Boston and Philly fans aren't doing a good job of hiding their fear/anger imo.

[edit] Except TQA, he always keeps it real

Siakam is 6'9 with a 7'3 wingspan
