I'd say that's not the best argument for DMitch, considering the average player's WS/48 is .6 their 21 year old season and DMitch's was .95.

I think he's obviously a much better prospect than that, but I think he's quite the dog to be a top 10 player at any sustained point in his career, although like Wade/Lowry I think he could very well be a top 10 guy for a year or two in his mid-late 20s.

The only statistical comp for him who bucked that trend was Wade.

Are those Jokic stats including playoffs game or regular season only?

Jokic issue is no playoff games and he hasn’t played serious minutes yet, his first two seasons were 27 minutes per game or less. Jokic is definitely an advanced stats whore but I think his usage is an issue when his d just isn’t great for a big.

I’ll take Paul George

Jokic and Gobert are actually pretty interesting, since both kind of lock in above average/top 5 O/D, both make it damn near impossibly to be top 5 in the opposite side of the ball, and both have some playoff issues against 5 out lineups

That curve is not meant to approximate Mitchell's WS/48, I'm simply showing what I think an approximate aging curve looks like.

This is a valid argument possibly, but I would think the fact that his production has increased as the minutes-loads got heavier would tell that story and it's been quite the opposite.

Year 1 - He'll struggle if he plays against starters
Year 2 - He'll struggle once he plays more minutes
Year 3 - People will figure him out and attack him relentlessly.

Post ASB 2017-18 numbers:

35 MPG, 22pts/11rebs/7assists on 63%TS, 46% 3PT on 4A/game. And the team had a +7.3PD with him on the court.

Doesn't appear that he's slowing down.

Also during his April run where they needed to go 7-0 his numbers:

39MPG, 26,12,8 on 61TS%, +8.3PD

Until he plays in the post-season we will never know, but I think the trends point to him being a beast once he gets there.

Just me or does embedding images not work?

Anyways, considering tings just disappeared and vini went, I'm going.

Spoiler:

It’s sad that we probably won’t see Jokic in the playoffs till he’s 30 or some ****. I’d love to see him play defense vs these current Rockets or Warriors for an entire series.

don't think this holds in this league b/c the talent distribution will be much closer to uniform than in the nba. it will remain true though that you won't be able to guarantee legitimate contention without one of a handful of players

Can’t remember doing a draft w/o auto-skip. It’s your draft, so if you want I can delete the pick. Ain’t no thing.

Draymond it is then

Jimmy Butler (29)
Draymond Green (28)

Draymond can guard 1-5 (see video), rebound, and pass. He does all of these things at an all-star level and this versatility and highly rare skill set complements many different line-ups.

Shooting is his primary weakness (outside of disqualifying antics), but his ability to guard 5s significantly minimizes that as an issue (as he’s basically Embiid from the perimeter).

Jimmy’s efficiency should get a nice bump playing with Dray, as the former all-star won’t need to expend as much energy on defense or playmaking and will have more quality chances created for him by the league’s best (only?) point center.

I actually rilly like the Draymond pick and pairing with Jimmy.

However he's not the only point center (Jokic).

Taking a 25 year old scorer, coming off 2 great seasons. entering his prime. plucking him out of a bad situation with a terrible coach and awful teammates. he's participated in team USA activities. The 3rd overall pick in 2012

Bradley Beal

The Kyrie Klay team should rain some fire down. I like it.

Can we change order of Kyrie/Klay picks? Tilts me that Klay is the 1st rounder and Kyrie the 2nd.

Would also bother Kyrie probably. Not the way you want to start off a franchise.
