Now I'm kinda wishing we took him instead of Zach Lavine.

tyus jones is really interesting to me.

his defensive #s look very good (lotta steals, RPM loves him), but he does virtually nothing on offense, and a big part of his RPM / Carmelo projection / simple rating is his on/off #s. his counterpart actually vastly outplays him, production-wise, per 82games.

his best lineup by far is one where he plays with the starting unit, so i just wonder if some of his on/off is just that the other PG on the team is so bad that hes still an UNDRAFTED despite being a starter on a playoff team.

I think he’s a pretty useful player for me though. I have lou Williams and will Barton who are high usage guys. And he obviously a strong defender for his size

Going for Erik Spoelstra. At this point in the draft I think Spo is better than the players I can get and he really maximizes what he gets out of his guys. I think my team is fun and potentailly could be really good in 2-3 years if 2 of JJ, Trae, and Staps develop into top starters at their position (Staps already close).

I have 3-4 guys who I see as ridiculously similar players, so when in doubt go with the guy you played against in high school.

E'Twaun Moore, 29

Excellent 3 point shooter, though he didn't get quite the volume I'd hope for (he will on this team, obv), is an underrated defender (as in, he tries hard, has good length, and will execute the scheme), and is considered a high character guy who didn't miss a game last season.

2016- 38% on 6.4 3PA per game
2017- 39% on 7.5 3PA per game

I was looking for a 3pt shooter with this selection. Every player on my team is a positive defender so I was not concerned with a lack of defense from this pick. Wayne "The Man with the Golden Arm" was 6th in 3PM (227) last season. Wayne is speedy running around screens and has a relentless motor. Last season, he had 12 games with at least 6 3PM which was good for 9th all-time.

Yea Ellington was one of the glut of dudes available who does that sort of thing. He's probably the best at the single trick. Went with Moore because he's 18ish months younger

I totally forgot about Moore until you picked him. I think Moore>Ellington mainly due to age as well. I liked how Ellington had more 3PA but I think that's most likely just a product of their teams game plan. They each shoot the corner 3 at 50% which is very nice weapon to have.
