It's absurdly close I think, with Jak having the pretty significantly better median outcome, but lacking the upside that Bam has from an athleticism, playmaking, and maybe even shooting (?) POV. Bam allegedly has some serious switching potential, who knows

i tuned in for that one game where Bam went off for like 7/7 in 10 minutes in a career high so I'm sure i'm biased but I was very impressed with what I saw. Dude was big and athletic, the strong and not lanky knobby kneed type of big, and he was making wet 18-footers. Got me so impressed that I googled him and when I saw how young he was...

Think he's going to blow up next year, especially now that other Miami centre is in the dog-house. He's #1 on the depth charts now, isn't he?

if dog house guy is sticking around they will probably try and rehabilitate his value with the start and ~25 min of PT

Going Jeremy Lamb

In his age 25 year he shot the 3ball very well at 37% with 3.2 attempts in 24.6 minutes for solid volume. I think he'll be a good bench player and be a valuable person in certain closing lineups.

Starters:
Fred Van Vleet - CJ McCollum - Kawhi Leonard - Nikola Mirotic - Derrick Favors

Bench:
Jeremy Lamb

I was looking at all those bigs before going Fournier.

Had Bam > Sabonis > Poeltl

All close, though.

Earlier this round, I added Jordan Bell to my roster.

Bell has a strong rookie year, posting per36 #s of 11.7pts/9.2rebs/4.1stocks/4.5ast/2.3tov
advanced stats of 18 PER, .641 TS%, .174 WS/48, and 3.7 BPM, and solid per100 splits of 121-ORTG/103-DRTG.

Some might chalk it all up to Bell playing on a juggernaut, but his RPM of 2.81 (8th among centers) belies that theory.

Bell is 23, can switch on ~anyone, and is very similar to Draymond from an effort and energy standpoint. He’s also a better finisher and reasonably good playmaker. He fits in very well next to Saric. He also should improve each year in this while starting out on a solid floor minimally.

Tyreke Evans
KCP
Jimmy Butler
Dario Saric
Draymond Green

Jordan Bell

Not even sure if i'm allowed to make a pick, but i'd fill out my last starting spot with Cody Zeller as my 5, you can skip the rest of my picks i guess.

you can pick if you wanna go the full 8, you're just an auto skip, which means the guys behind you can snipe you

Not his prime years but at this point of the draft, I think he's too much value to pass on considering the incredible season he just had. If he can keep near that level for 2-3 years and then decline but keep his shooting (career 40% 3p shooter) I reckon he'll be useful

FRANK NTILIKINA

The New york Jazz now have 3 member of all nba first defensive team for years 3-5, Quin Snyder as the Head coach and 2 elite offensive role player to complete the lineup

It is my prediction that Frank Ntilikina will be in the running for Most Improved Player next season.

The New York Jazz are waffle crushing this draft. Guivre1408 is an elite basketball mind!

IT'S UNBELIEVABLE WHAT'S GOING ON RIGHT HERE! Actually nah it's quite believable. 2018 NBA 5 Year Dynasty Draft

C: Anthony Davis
F: Tobias Harris
F: Andre Roberson
SG: Eric Gordon
PG: Frank Ntilikina

Coach: Mr. Coachcaine Quin Snyder

a team with frankie nicotine and roberson is bound to have some spacing issues imo

i still think thats a pretty interesting lineup, but am wondering what the PG pick was if you skipped coachcaine. prob figures to be a better lineup imo.

edit: going thru the google doc, there hasnt been a primary ballhandler taken after coachcaine. so maybe i stand corrected. i have some ideas for a better PG than frankie but thatd be spoiling future draft slots

True if you think that his rookie 3pt % is his peak 3pt %

Half of player with a totally broken shot managed to turn into 35% shooters. There's really more reason to think that a 19yo with a good mechanic can go from 31 to 36 rather than him being stucked in the low 30s

i think its a reasonable gamble to make, but the success of your team almost entirely depends on it. if frankie cant learn how to shoot, you have two total zeroes on offense.

teams are already scheming roberson to perfection and hampering everyone around him, i'd love to see a team with 2 robersons get schemed lol.

A 7 PER and 43% TS% should be concerning even if he's only 19. His AST% and TOV% both being 20% should be a concern as well as your starting PG. Maybe undrafted coach IRL can help him but I have my concerns. I know you two are obsessed with Frank though.

Like if he doubled his PER to 14, he'd still might be a slight stretch to be picked at this point cause his TS% is so bad.

this may be kind of a hot take but i think daro is winning this draft, which is pretty impressive considering he took bradGOAT in round one

give bradGOAT ayton and you unlock aytons super saiyan abilities and make him top 5 ITL

terry rozer (24)
jaylen brown (21)
jamal murray (21)
domantas sabonis (22)
deandre ayton (rookie)

all super young, molded in bradGOATs vision, they would stomp

Frank was a lock to be leading this team since pick 1, ego can run the point we need some offensive versatile wings on the bench

Also AD is in this team so we already have a number 1 offensive option
