you got the second pick last year (took katie), signed up second, and got the second pick again. thought you might go that direction again since no matter how many championships katie gets he'll always be second place, but him, giannis, kawhi all close imo

way too early for Luka. I had seven tier 1 guys for this format. I probably would've taken Lebron #1, but I think theres a reasonable argument for Giannis, Brow, and KD.

don't agree with the lebron take (would put him behind the top 4 that went + maybe 1 or 2 undrafteds), but it's kind of amazing people haven't been taking him number 1 in the last few of these (I took Kawhi last year, (undrafted) the year before, and I think there was a Durant and/or a Brow year as well)

yea I expect that I'm in the minority. I think Lebron is gonna age insanely well. I don't like spending the top pick on a big(AD) or a poor shooter(Giannis), but perhaps their talent outweighs those concerns. I prob have it:

1. Lebron
2. Durant
3. Giannis
4. Brow

but I think its basically 1a, 1b, 1c, and 1d.

Healthy Kawhi would be 1e. I thought he might drop further than he did due to the injury concerns though.

I didn't have Towns in my top tier due to concerns about his D and not improving much from year 2 to year 3. But he was my #8, and theres enough to love about him that I can't argue too strongly against the pick.

Range? Dude was 14th in the league at 42.1% and 16th in attempts.
Boards? 4th itl overall at 12.3. 18th in offensive reb% and 4th in defensive.
Tied for 8th in bpg at 1.4, and then he turns the ball over at a very low number: 1.9/g - lower than Brow last year (2.2, although he's 1.8 for his career) and much lower than the other young 5s yet to go.
He has legit bulk to guard the 5s, again without ever missing a game in his career.

I did hesitate due to D but I'll take the size, range, and going into his early prime w/ no injury concerns. I think I can fill out a true team roster to more fully win (due to positional scarcity) than the other two guys considered, which would just be highlighting their scoring with athletes/role players.

Yeah was debating between Giannis and KD. Giannis having the year he did kinda proves hes most of an established elite player plus KD being one year older was the difference.

There's a third player I wish I had the balls to take instead.
