The best thing about pairing Gary with Lebron is that his ideal position might be in the Derek Fisher role at the 1, and having someone like Lebron do most of the ball-handling duties would allow that to happen...

Love the idea of the "Derek Fisher" role. LeBron will always dominate the ball so he needs a guard who is crafty playing off. With all of the great guards in the league, a solid defender is essential. Gary is probably best matched up defensively vs 1's too. Having LeBron on offense would allow for Gary to be more active on the defensive end as well as being able to play the 2 on the offensive end.

I think it has to be drafted that way tbh. AD,KD,LeBron,Giannis, Kawhi/Curry are just much more valuable than the guys drafted later. I think the best pick to have in the draft would probably be 5th because your guaranteed a choice among those top guys and get the benefit from going early subsequent rounds. The way things shaked out, my pick #6 was the best slot to draft from.

He was 58 TS% in 2016 so he probably is somewhere in between. CJ has been averaging around 22 ppg the past three seasons which is a legit scorer in my book.

I was deciding between CJ/Kemba/Gary.

TS% was the deciding factor between CJ and Kemba. Felt more comfortable with the role I need being filled by Kemba rather than Gary. It's pretty cool how often the boards go as I have them slotted around my pick. You see how the NBA draft builds an organic consensus on slot rankings so often.

I wonder to what effect CJ’s scoring is influenced by playing next to another great scorer.

For some reason I feel like CJ scores fairly independently and his minutes are often staggered w/Dame’s.

Seems like a guy that should have a higher TS% due to raining buckets so easily, but I guess he never gets to the line and is not a great finisher.

CJ does seem like a guy whose scoring should be inelastic to defense based on the difficult shots he can take/make.

He takes 45% of his shots off the dribble and his eFG% on those is north of 52% fwiw

RoCo takes 22% of his shots off the dribble. Interestingly though, he shoots about as well from 3 off one dribble as he does off the catch.

Was thinking about taking Turner so I guess now my pick is easier.

I'll take Andre Drummond.

Somehow hes only just 24. Coming off a career year. He seems to have fixed his FT problem. A very good defender. He's also never really had an elite offensive creator. Giannis/Drummond pnr seems fun and on defense its nightmarish length and rim protection.

All I need to do now is get a few shooters.
