walker is such a good player. Id love to see his career play out somewhere else. pairing him with Towns is a really nice start.

for Towns, is it more of the same in MIN where he is again fighting for usage. could inhibit growth or be the start of a great team

I think guys like Otto/Roco are going to look really good/bad in the playoffs depending on how they are shooting because that's pretty much what you'll remember about them offensively. Without naming undrafteds, there's a particular Spur who just opted in that has cycled between looking like the second-coming of Klay in the playoffs, and then looking like a complete goat.

I think in reality they provide the value that their advanced numbers reflect in the playoffs, and just didn't shoot well recently.

Porter is a better shooter, but Covington is a world class perimeter defender and you can/should play him as your 4.

3 and D guys are so rare and to also have the size he has is just such a perfect piece. and with an 8 man rotation he is flexible enough to move around

Covington was basically benched and unplayable in the Boston series. He's much worse vs elite players.

He averaged 26.5 minutes in the Boston series

That's skewed. He played 40 in Game 2.

As series went on they adjusted him down. He played 19 and 20 minutes in the final 2. games .

it's also skewed, because he had 4 fouls in game 4.

So the fact that he got 4 fouls in 19 minutes is supposed to be a mark in his favor?

covington will have plenty of chances to prove whether he does / does not suck in the playoffs in the coming few years. my personal read is he's a low usage player and they needed more creation because simmons got BRAD-ed.

also, in that game 2, which phili almost won, covington had 22/9/2/2/2 +4 despite the other starters being at -8 / -11 / -12 / -23.

he then had some bad shooting games. its a 4 game sample, im not terribly concerned. D + shooting scales well.

Philadelphia is down 3-0 in the series. Brown starts McConnell.
Covington picks up his third foul with 11:00 to go in the second quarter.
McConnell proceeds to have the game of his life. career high 19 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists.

Brown continues to go with TJ in game 5.

Harris is one of the most efficicent scorers in the league. He can score inside (4th highest fg% at the rim amoung guards) and out (39.6% on 6 3PA per.) The "Gary Harris" is also great at working off the ball and is known for being a skilled cutter. He averaged 17.5 ppg last season on a very nice 59 TS% on almost 21 USG.

One of the big reasons why I chose Gary was because of his defense. He was responsible for defending the best guard. He seems like he gets tons of deflections and is always in passing lanes. Although he is only 6'4, he plays with strength and won't back down.

Gary probably deserves to be a third round pick but I'm very high on him. I think that after Harden and Klay, Gary could end up being the third best sg next season or the year after. LeBron should be able to be a similar distributor to Jokic so I don't think he would lose efficiency in the absence of the Joker.

I love Harris. I think he has end of round 2 talent

The best thing about pairing Gary with Lebron is that his ideal position might be in the Derek Fisher role at the 1, and having someone like Lebron do most of the ball-handling duties would allow that to happen...

Man Lebron team would have been unreal the next 2 seasons if you got CP3. I think this is a lower variance play but I think I like to roll the dice the first 3 years.

There are a few undrafteds that would definitely be more useful to win next year. However, I felt I needed to lock up someone who could be close to their prime for the entire five yeas. I'm looking to compete for the full five.

I'd rather cheat out 1 or 2 titles early but that's me. Competing for 5 years likely gets you much less equity.

Is Tings out--his picks aren't in the SS--to others, he drafted two 1st year players who I guess are back in the draft if that's the case.

CJ Mccollum

CJ was my BPA. Legit scorer with and without the ball. I was very close to picking him but I went with the better defender. Kawhi is a great pairing for CJ. Draft is delivering.

The teams with current stars are making great picks. Lillard/George combo looking suspect

Kawhi>>George, Dame>CJ so I like Jumanji a tad more right now. However, I'd rather your team getting the higher picks from here on out. I think Dame may have one more gear left we haven't seen. Dame is definitely one of the players that is more valuable for this draft than he is on his current team as well.
