This is a valid argument
possibly, but I would think the fact that his production has increased as the minutes-loads got heavier would tell that story and it's been quite the opposite.
Year 1 - He'll struggle if he plays against starters
Year 2 - He'll struggle once he plays more minutes
Year 3 - People will figure him out and attack him relentlessly.
Post ASB 2017-18 numbers:
35 MPG, 22pts/11rebs/7assists on 63%TS, 46% 3PT on 4A/game. And the team had a +7.3PD with him on the court.
Doesn't appear that he's slowing down.
Also during his April run where they needed to go 7-0 his numbers:
39MPG, 26,12,8 on 61TS%, +8.3PD
Until he plays in the post-season we will never know, but I think the trends point to him being a beast once he gets there.
