Damn. Naby + Fabinho already. Plop killin it in der markt. These are the kinds of moves you need to be making if you want to stay competitive or get an edge. If they managed to beat Arse to Lichtsteiner it would really be a dream summer.

I'm neutral on lich/sok. Better than nothing but **** arsenal going to have to do a city level reloading without the oil bux in 2-3 years. Talking like 300-400mill overhaul.

This is just papering over the cracks with shoddy spackle. I don't hate short term moves, but there needs to be some long term consideration as well which it doesn't seem like there is.

Except we have never did that, literally. We had obvious flaws and failed to act upon them. Didn't get a longer bench this is why we didn't even really use subs in the 2nd leg vs Atletico. No real options available.

I didn't say exceptional transfers, but certainly encouraging in terms of seeing us addressing the issues. Buying a goalkeeper is next on the list, ramblings about a midfielder joining as well.

Özil-Laca-Auba-Miki is more than fine going forward (also we have Welbeck).

As Ducky said, it will be a long process and I'm happy we are starting it the way we did.

Liverpool is crushing it if all these rumours are true. How do the pool fans feel about adding strength to their back line? Who would you want that is realistic?

For Arsenal, im more confused than ever but i have trust in our current team of Sven and Sanllehi.

Forsberg is definitely an upgrade over Iwobi, but he had a pretty ****ty season. As fun as it would be for me being Swedish, might be money better spent elsewhere.

Söyüncü had a fantastic season and seems like a really bright talent, but 35 million? Woah, even with inflation. Definetly a better investment than Sokratis though.

Honestly if we’re investing further I think it should be another wide forward as cover for Mane and Salah. I think VVD can get Lovren through the season and I’m happy enough to roll with karius who obv was horrific in the final but I think has been fine otherwise. Understand I’d probably be in the minority.

Yea I can't see a lot happening to the defense and keeper. You can debate whether Lovren/Matip are good enough but I think Lovren looked good alongside VvD and Gomez is a long term CB I believe. Robertson and Trent have locked up the FB spots. I suspect Klopp wants the elite GK but we might find it difficult to get them in.

Need someone like Son to complement the front 3 plus be able to play as a 9. Fekir played on the left of a attacking 3 last night for France so he could potentially work but Solanke as the back up striker is probably not going to cut it. Maybe Salah could work as a 9 on the odd occasion.

Never heard of him. Looks like he has 5 first team starts, one of them against plop in the CL. I guess this would mean another season of Valencia as first choice RB which isn't ideal.

I'm not sure I'm liking what I hear on the twattas about our transfer window (which hasn't even started and the WC hasn't even kicked off). Unless it's all a calculated deception scheme, if it's true that we're "done" with our business this summer (buying, that is. Not selling) then I'm feeling like it's 2007 - 2012 again.

Haven’t been following too closely but see rumblings if pulisic leaving Dortmund and coming to the prem.
