rat's bff makes the last big decision of his career, and all rat wants to talk about is leo messi. i mean i get it, he's the main man, the main event, there's a reason the messi goat thread is about 2000 posts and the ronaldo goat one is 12 posts, but still

you should be more considerate imo

I somewhat agree and disagree.

Hea changed/adapted his game so much in recent years. Game slower and the gap between Juve and the rest is massive so in theory it should be easier for him over all. He’ll at least win a few league titles as well, he’s only won 2 in his time at Madrid.

Be pretty impressive to win multiple leagues and top scorer in he big three leagues.

Can’t be many if any who’ve played for the biggest club in each of those leagues/countries too.

Serie A was by far the closest run of all the big leagues last season. I would be surprised if it isn't the closest again this one.

So Juve have no money left in the budget to bribe refs and opposing players

Edin Dzeko scored 29 goals in Serie A recently.

An aging Ronaldo should do fine in that league. He's likely the favorite to lead the league in scoring unless they give him tons of rest in the league.

I will have a modest bet on the PL being closer than Serie A next year if you want?

Luckily for them you don't need to include bribes in FFP calculations.

Salah averaged 14 goals a season in Serie A then went to the PL and broke the goal scoring record. Through your formula I calculate that an aging Ronaldo would score even more goals in the PL.

It's a league kind to aging strikers. See:

Toni, Di Natale, Quagliarella, Borriello, Gilardino, Klose, etc...

Well, Juve are clearly the best side by a considerable margin. They’ll be even better with Ronaldo. Napoli won’t run them that close next year, lost their manager, no money either.

That's true, and those players were also great strikers. But suggesting that because Dzeko had a great season two years ago means Ronaldo will have an easy time is much too simplistic.

I think Inter and Napoli will run them close. Inter have made a few great signings and Ancelotti is as good of a replacement for Sarri as they could ask for.

Some talk of Hazard to Barca, I would really like to see that but the way things have been going lately he’ll probably end up at Real and Barca will get Jesus or something.

I'm actually not sure what the plan is here. McCarthy looked really good in the stretch and we gave him a long term contract. We also still have Fraser Forster on the books too :/
