what's the deal with courtois? is he refusing to sign a new deal because he misses madrid but nobody in the city wants him all that much? maybe he can go play for rayo

Seems like he is Real's second choice behind Alisson, so until what he is doing gets sorted nothing is going to happen.

I don't take anything seriously unless it comes from Lyall Thomas or Dan Kilpatrick, or obviously the BBC.

I wouldn't look too far past Kovacic, Martial and Grealish for rumours at the moment, although in Grealish's case, it will probably run till deadline day.

Doubt we'll get the first two either, but that's no reason not to try.

Looks like Cristiano to Juve will be officially done today. I was expecting him to stay one more year, or two at the very most, but leaving because of Florentino is really stupid, especially since he finally gave you the salary you wanted. Stupid, childish ego, but I guess he wouldn't be who he is today without it. Bummer.

The Pulisic rumours were based around a piece that appeared in the print version of Kicker, but never appeared online anywhere remotely credible. 1/5.

Compare that with the Grealish rumors that have appeared everywhere, with Lyall Thomas stating Poche likes him, he wants the move and Villa need the money. 5/5

It's good for Real I'm almost certain though I suppose they COULD screw up short term. Even if they somehow do they've brought good pieces in place recently.

It should also be good for Juve and it could be great even if it lifts the club. Mostly outside the pitch. Similar level or beyond even to where they were in the overall club football hierarchy in previous peak years. Say various points in the 80s, mid, late 90s or maybe early 00s. It's something that's hard to speculate about though but I think it's a definite goal for the Agnellis making this transfer happen.
