I think it's safe to say that that has been a pretty successful strategy for my club in the last few years.
Ya English championship has some good talent in terms of team strength there isn't a massive gap between middling tier PL teams and upper tier championship teams. Lots of value to be had.
Also newest statsbomb article on pressures has some cool Burnley stuff. Basically compares their deep block with and without pressures data vs other teams that play a deep block.
He may be the wrong side of 30, but I'm pretty happy with a back line of Chilwell, Maguire, Evans, Pereira, especailly after last season's shocking defensive performances.
fekir to liverpool seems like it will be done soon. i thought he was too much of a pure #10 for them/klopp, but i haven't actually seen that much. it should be fun either way
Arnautovic to Manchester United appears to be happening, supposedly. Some haggling going on over the price right now.
He was excellent for us after a poor start, I will be sad to see him go. I wonder if he is good enough for them, but the fee will likely be £55m or higher for a player that turns 30 this season, which is probably more than we can afford to turn down. He will be very hard to replace though.
