Chelsea want 100B for Kante though.

How actual long till the first 1B player I wonder. Probably a simple thing to work out if you cba to draw a trend line.

Mbappe is one of the best players in the world and is under 21. I dont know if any player will go for more than him in the next few years but they probably shouldn't.

The only way Mbappe leaves psg is by running down his contract or the sheikh losing interest in football though so it prob won't be him.

have seen a few MLS "experts" say they think he's a better prospect than Pulisic
so at "only" $12M + 20% sell-on it's a decent gamble for Bayern
last Canuck they bought didn't work out so bad iirc

No, but he's the best young player in a decade and its so, so rare for these players to be that good and available before they're near peak years. I just dont see someone worth say, double what he went for within 5 years.

Mbappe is as close to a "sure thing" you can get for being "worth" nearly £200m, but if he does his ACL in a month...who knows? I just think injuries prevent a team from spending like 500m+ on a guy.

Not sure if it's been posted in here, but the BBC is saying the Richarlison fee is £35m, potentially moving up to £50m, which is less crazy than originally suggested.

on the one hand it seems like they should just take the money
but on the other, maybe it only gets you a "Richarlison"?

Barca also supposedly trying to hijack Roma's purchase of Malcom, so that seems like 2 options for the same spot there

i guess they've identified RW/RM as an area of immediate need?
