To be fair Fellaini would give Arsenal a bit of grit and determination.

A plan B as well.

I’m I crazy to think that it might actually be a good transfer for Arsenal? Mean he’s not going to be a starter but I can see the classic lump it into the box in the last minute and win header and score a last minute winner against Arsenal going out the window.

I know you didn't watch football back when he was playing for everton but a lot of the lols and reputation around him is people overblowing it. chances are that if he didn't look like such a nob with his hair he probably would be talked about 4 times less. He started a total of 7 games for man utd all season, he's been a non-factor

I do think that he's got the exact type of skills that managers tend to like and overrated

I would have prefered to have Failaini on the bench quite a few games this past season. I definitely think it would be a squad improvement.

IMO.

The problem with arsenal at the moment is all transfers will point towards “yeh good squad/backup player”

But none at the moment actually improving the first team. Would be slightly worried .
Just all stagnating transfers right now

I only saw him play 1-2 games for Spurs, but he looked decent to me - comfortable footballer and good going forward iirc.

I think the problem for some of the attacking full backs playing for us is that we are weaker than a lot of the sides we face and therefore spend a lot of time on the back foot, exposing the weaker parts of their game. In addition, we don't really have anyone that can be described as a defensive midfielder, which is going to make make this worse.

That said, we probably can't lose with a transfer like this.

I think it's safe to say that that has been a pretty successful strategy for my club in the last few years.
