yeah the thing about sterling is that although he is at times dreadfully wasteful, he gets into tons of great spots other players would not.

i wouldn't even consider taking him off here. he is the only person that has been able to expose the swedish defense. i think it would be stupid to take him off cuz he squandered a couple of chances other players wouldn't have had in the first place.

Sterling must use echolocation rather than sight such is his lack of vision. He doesn't see players in his peripheral nevermind outside in fact he misses stuff literally in front of his face because he's staring at his feet.

Sterling haters not realising that subbing him out doesn't help take these chances cos his replacement doesn't get in these spots. He may be a below average finisher but his current run is variance.

Sticking with him is actually pretty impressive by Southgate as the usual English idiot managers would have folded to the idiot England supporters who want him dropped.
